Spinnaker 50 Phantoms đź‘»

No question... We all know it's a "sickness"... It's just how bad do you got it... :dunno:

This hobby (preoccupation) at times kind of reminds me of a few friends of mine and the circumstances they had. Their "better halves" might as well had been invisible from where I was sitting and observing. There comes a time when just being there isn't enough. Clueless to the signs, hints and advice anyone may try to give. Saying things like "you are crazy man, no way! .

They say you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. Suddenly, like a ton of bricks they wake up when it's too late. Something taken for granted you thought would always be there is gone. A new interest has kindled a spark long dead from years of neglect and being taken for granted. Now suddenly, your attention is 110%, but it's too late because the feelings are no longer mutual. They no longer need you .. that kind of love once shared is dead now.

Unlike the image below on the LE version the color of Phantoms on the dial will only be Green. Hands, indexes, stitching, rear Rotor are BLUE going to be Blue.

KUDOS to SPINNAKER for adding the blue options. I would like to see more brands do this to stop the scalpers. No loss for most of the ones crying foul. Most are not regular loyal, customers or collectors, but scalpers who suck the joy from the hobby. They will be forced to either eat the watch or sell it for a normal price. Pricing speculators/vultures are the scumbags!

Saying Spinnaker made a scummy move for making the blue is a frigging joke. I would venture to say that most of those sentiments are coming from the vultures who are scalping. There are some I see who might have paid some inflated price on fleaBay, but that's on them. The brands are not the issue. It's the buyers who patronize the vultures. Most of these scumbags would fade away if there was no market for these insane prices.

Long Island Watch

From the first time I laid eyes on this watch, I knew I wanted one! But the original limited run of the Spinnaker 50 Phantoms collab with Seconde/Seconde sold out so quickly I was unable to obtain one.

When Spinnaker announced they were doing another unlimited run in blue, even better! I knew I had to get one. Today is "sort of" that day! I will review the blue 50 Phantoms. I hope you enjoy it!

Our store is at: https://www.LongIslandWatch.com
