I let her pick it out because I know better to think I know her fashion choices. That is a way to have to deal with returns. But she did listen to some advice. She is getting to the age of needing reading glasses and this watch fit the bill. It has a large dial, no date(cant read'em anyway without hunting down glasses) and no hassle setting them when she wants to use it. Just wind,set time, and go. If the watch was complicated she would just grab her apple watch or a quartz.dress/sporty open heart
