This one is now live. Great size at 45mm, all good materials, clean design and nice color choices on these. Just a damn nice looking watch IMO.

An outstanding, and marvelous review indeed. Thanks for posting this up, Jim.:outstand::applaud:

Your 5 minute review turned into nearly 8, Jim. lol
No complaints, I like this one. Agree with you, the silver is my choice.

Really like the case. Thanks Jim

Again must I tell the group how lucky we are to have Jim Skelton here. This is an Iconic individual who has done more to inspire people with Horology than anyone I know in the last 15 years. His intellect, knowledge and wry delivery have made anything he does amazing. Truly we should be praying 6 times a day in his direction, but no the jealousy and hateration that seems to accompany Jim has pissed me off for years. I personally would like to B**** slap anyone who ever disparaged my man Jim Skelton. Now the turds come out with all of their crap against him and I say suck it. I am going to make it my personal mission to praise and defend my man Jim Skelton. From the Shop to World of Watches no one is better at informing and entertaining than he is. So bring it.. all the insecure jealous haters. Attack me personally or Jim, but do it at your own peril. I will not let up in my praise and defense of this tremendous gift to our passion. Mr. Jim Skelton

That IS a nice watch. I also like the dial/ blue hand coctrast, along with the very modernistic shaped lugs.
Take care, Jim.

This is what comes from having multiple browser tabs open at once.

I'm guessing you're responding to a different thread or perhaps an entirely different forum. I'm not seeing any "jealous haters" in this thread and personal attacks are not countenanced in this forum. If you're responding to goings on elsewhere it might be more appropriate to post your comments in the other venue.

In the meantime welcome to the forum. Personal attacks are off limits (specifically to include those you might consider launching in defense of anyone or anything), random product bashing is discouraged but this isn't WG - if somebody has a legitimate beef with a product he won't be shouted down. If somebody thinks the Sunday Run's shipping policies are onerous and / or ill-advised they are welcome to voice their opinion. Criticisms of products are acceptable provided the criticism isn't directed at a person promoting the product. Criticizing Eyal for an IWG faux pas is not considered a personal attack.

Critiques of personal taste are not forbidden but if it would be rude in a face-to-face social environment it would be considered rude here. This includes both 30mm diamond vintage men's watches and 54mm watches with or without cables. Explaining one's own personal preferences is, however, encouraged.

Bromances and loyalty to industry personalities are tolerated but not overtly encouraged. If carried to an extreme they run the risk of creeping out various individuals perhaps even including the individual intended to benefit from said loyalty though this last is strictly my conjecture based on what I would personally be comfortable with.

Relax ... chill ... enjoy ...

Hilarious. You have a gift for comedy - well done!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who drinks in the evenings.

Atauction.com sells some Paul Perret, Balmer, Brandt and Hoffman, Buech and Boilat and Tschuy-Vgot.
I've never bought here, so I can not say if it is a good place or not, but a lot of watch brands from Jims videos are sold here. You may be able to get some deals.

Yer hilarious.

DC isn't just drinking the kool aid, he's drowning in it. Look, Jim is reviewing crap watches that most people have never heard of. Since he knows they are crap watches, he must be getting compensated for the reviews. Otherwise, why not review Seiko, Citizen, or any watch that isn't junk?

Wow, you're so enlightened. I didn't realize that I had divulged my finances to anyone, but your guess should totally be taken as fact.

I was unaware that Bulova Precisionists, TW Steel, Lum-Tec and Ritmo Mundo were unheard of brands that equate to "crap". You should start your own YT channel, and like me, do it as an unpaid hobby. Then just go out and buy a few Audemars and Pateks to review.

Also, I LOVE bringing out lesser known brands. I personally enjoyed seeing Ventus, Zelos and Tschuy-Vogt in person, and was glad to expose people to them. I think each of them (and some of the other brands I've reviewed) are going to do some badass things in the coming years.

My watch channel is in its infancy. I can't just email Rolex and ask them to send me a watch to review. Once there are more subscribers, a review becomes more valuable to companies, and I will have more to choose from.

These pieces look nice. Too bad they're not high beat autos, though. I don't do quartz anymore.

Nope, not letting this slide, and I do NOT want it removed....

Actually Jim, with the exception of lum tec and bulova, yes, most of those watches are crap. Balmer, Paul Perret, Jules Breting, tsog choy? or however it is spelled. How many watches have been reviewed that were swiss auto, or even japanese auto? Or have sapphire crystals. Or have decent water resistance. Or decent resale value? Gee, I bet those Paul Perrets are like having money in the bank. Most of the brands you've reviewed are fifty bucks on At Auction. Just admit, you are shilling for these junk brands. Not that it's anything new. You've made quite a career of it.
.

Wonder where your bitterness is coming from? I can take a guess...

Who said anything about resale value? Sorry, but if you're buying watches as an investment, I have some bad news for you.

I've been completely transparent with every single review. I've stated clearly if a watch is "worth" the selling prices (both MSRP and actual selling prices), and strongly suggest that people shop around and never just blindly buy anything. It's because of people like you, that I have HAD to over-explain everything, over-explain that I'm not selling anything and that people should do research themselves on everything they intend to buy. I can't just go out and enjoy what I do, I am forced to put disclaimers on half the things I say because some know-it-all internet loser has to trump up theories and cast dispersions.

Know what? I'm f*cking tired of it. God forbid I do something that I enjoy. That people have posted and asked me to do since the day I announced that I was leaving TV. Why should I be happy, why should I have the freedom to do what I please? Clearly I've done something so terrible that people have to pursue me all over the internet to be sure I don't have a clear path to the things that I enjoy. I sold over a Billion dollars worth of watches in my career. I worked with good and bad people sitting next to me who chose how they wanted their company & products represented. F*ck me, I'm the next Jim Bakker... the next Uni Bomber... clearly as evil as ISIS and everyone on the internet should be told, and I should be followed around and belittled by everyone unprovoked, as often as possible.

Ya know what's funny about it all? One of the people who verbalized more than almost anyone else how much he detested me, and talked a big game... never said a single thing to my face when we met in person. He later reported on a forum that he was in the same store I was at when I bought my Ducati... even spoke to me... and continued to run his commentary... yet didn't have the balls to say anything to my face. And most of these types tend to do it behind a moniker, a screen name. I say what I say, how I want to say it with my own name sitting right there.

So, in your own words... "just admit it"... you're just trying to stir the pot.

And people wonder why I took such a long hiatus from all the forums. Unreal.

Jim, I may not buy every watch you review, but I learn what's out there, and enjoy your reviews.
And who knows...I never bought an Invicta, Android, Sturhling untill I bumped into you on TV....and look what YOU did!

Nice review Jim & please keep them coming. :) I also agree with another post, imho you are the best in describing a watch & I always enjoyed your presentations.

Well, BD just pretty much proved DC was clairvoyant and that my assertion that nothing but respect and "live and let live" were to found here was in error.

That's just, well, is there such a word as "chagrining"?

So what's the status on the alpha male magazine that you were talking about?
