Just One More Watch

Whilst the new Calibre 400 is undoubtedly a massive leap forward to Oris as a brand, and in terms of the tech specs of the movement. However, it is also a massive leap forward in terms of price. The Calibre 400 spec'ed Aquis costs 50% more than the Sellita powered version. Can it justify that difference? I guess it depends on how much money you have! Cheers, Jody

donuts were above my pay grade before the raise...but i can like a peek of crimson rotor and appreciate the jacked case to bracelet ratio like jane mansfields' brazier ...if my memory on thread is working oris was first to use an orange dial back in the day...although they all became insolvent in response to the quartz revolution ...and got revived by acquisitors ...eventually

Winding down​

Often with a hand-wound watch, there’s no way of being sure when it will stop. Oris has developed a 120-hour power reserve indicator to sit on the back of Calibre 473, a useful function that clearly shows when the time to rewind its five-day reserve is approaching.
