The Orient Star RE-AV0B09N Limited Edition is a very special watch. To start, the watch itself. It's an Orient Star, so the case, movement and finishing are superb and things like sapphire glass (with an AR coating) and a fine steel bracelet come as standard. The movement, the Orient in-house F6F44, hacks, can be hand wound, has a power reserve indicator at 12, a small second hand at 6 o'clock and an 'open heart' at 9. Through this opening in the beautiful green and grey dial you can view the running automatic movement. This latest generation movement has a longer power reserve than its predecessors; 50 hours rather than 40.
On the back of the watch you'll find a viewing window, through which you'll be able to see the back of the movement.
The watch embraces fabric textures in the dial, in a classy way that will stand out beautifully!
This Limited Edition watch is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide and is numbered on the caseback and comes with an additional grey calf leather strap with deployant clasp.

The Layered Skeleton features a two-layer dial featuring motifs incorporating suit fabric. The upper layer dial representing the outer material of a suit is designed with a herringbone pattern while the lower layer dial has a paisley pattern with a sheen reminiscent of a cupra lining. The contrasting fabrics provide a unique accent to the overall look of the watch. The semi-skeleton opening on the dial is paisley shaped, and the open-work design of the power reserve display also reveals the inner workings of the mechanical movement. This sense of depth combined with the textile patterns creates an eye-catching look. And the gentle curves of the lugs evoke the dimple of a tie or the drape of fabric. The limited-edition model of 1,000 pieces worldwide, does not feature the textile pattern on the dial, but the grey upper layer and blue bottom layers create a sophisticated two-toned colour scheme that can be matched to a range of styles from blue to grey. In addition to a metal bracelet, the limited-edition model comes with a grey calf leather strap to change the look of the watch.
