Of all of the Black Friday offerings, this is the one I'm most drawn to. I came close to picking up the K2 Carbon the past couple of Black Friday sales, but ended up purchasing other models. The K2 DLC looks great too, but I picked up a K2 DLC last year with the damascus dial. Hoping for some good pricing when released on Monday - the Black Friday sale is always a good opportunity to add an H2O to the collection.
 
Link to Black Friday sales - nothing showing right now, but earlier this morning it showed the K2 25000m priced starting at 990 EUR, so I'm betting that will be one of the offerings. We should see all of the offerings and prices tomorrow.

Hello H2O / HELBERG friends!

Just a short notice:
We will close our this years BLACK SALE 2021 on December, 8th.

What are we going to add in 2022 into our product range?
In 2022 we will extend our HELBERG product range by the addition of belts, cufflinks, high end folding knives, pens and other "important" mens products. All of them we will produce in Germany on our own CNC machines and with lots of handwork involved. We will mainly use exotic materials, like Mokume Gane, Damascus steel or Timascus and will provide the highest possible quality level. Can´t wait to get our self manufactured products into my hands. :)

if this were a different time and I wasn't targeting other items, that MG K2 with the MG bezel would be on its way.

But there are other targets and its right before Christmas; when I try to prioritize spending on others rather than myself.

Received notice that FedEx is picking up package today. Our office is closed on Monday (I’m having shipped there), so I will likely get on Tuesday. Will be a great way to start the New Year! Really excited about this one - I always thought the price would be out of reach to add this to the collection - Black Friday pricing was about half the price I’ve seen previously offered for sale, so I had to pounce.

UPDATE on BS sale:
Working min. 12 hours a day to get the remaining watches out!

Over 80% of the watches were shipped already (CH1 BLUE OCEAN / K2 CARBON / 25000M / K2 MG) and now the CH1 VINTAGE is in preparation. And I feel it takes ages to prepare as it´s so much work to get them done. ANyway, I´m expecting to ship the last CH1 VINTAGE latest next Monday.
 
That is a bad design. The best way is to have an inner steel core.

A somewhat lesser known fact, perhaps, is that this forged carbon case has to have a steel inner casing, as well as a stainless steel case back, because forged carbon cannot be machined with the microscopic tolerances that is required from any highly water resistant case. This nature of forged carbon draws two direct consequences. First, while the weight is of course lower than what is experienced with a solid stainless steel watch, it is perhaps not as light as one would expect it to be. Furthermore, while the large, single-piece carbon exterior remains warm to the touch even when the external temperatures are low, the steel caseback picks low temperatures up and as such gets really cold – making for the usual, somewhat unpleasant feel when first put on the wrist. Nevertheless, the black PVD coated steel caseback does have a very cool design feature: it displays some of the key characteristics of the watch in a unique, periodic table inspired way.
