I see all this and can't get why we can't make this work...???

Is it because you really don't like the idea or you can't believe that we could come together on something like this??

:dunno:

I know the "Logistics" are an issue...Once again I guess I'm late to the party...

Carry On...

The issue here is getting enough WITS to buy in as it were. I see only 17 have responded by poll.
This won't get er done. For me what Joel said makes sense and would certainly make this task
doable. Addictions are not logical as you know and are driven by who knows what. I for one believe the fun and challenge of this endeavor would be in the getting there. Putting a WIT dial on an in-house case with logo and some cool CB art and and watch band might do it for me, but not as much if we could come up with a WIT design, and arm twist a Wing or Elshan to produce our work.
We would have to have buy in, not sure what that number is?! We could also create a Committee voted on by WIT's tasked with this project. Kind of like Kickstarter up-dates as the Committee progresses. We have a wealth of watch talent here!

Would you like a special edition WIT Watch?

Yes is the answer BUT, Honestly I cannot vote until a size/range is determined.
That is my most important #1 issue to me & I imagine to many others.
We are obviously going to have only one size offered/available due to the low number of voters in the poll.

Tell me the size you all are thinking of & I will cast my vote.

I'm seeing examples in the 44mm range & that is not in my wheelhouse.

Trying to narrow down what some are willing to spend is tough enough. Add movement and size and that presents even more challenges to the idea. Have a goal of 25, 50 watches and narrow it down to size and price, the rest shouldn't be too hard IMO, but you still go back to square one who will be making the timepiece.

My recent Zelos Horizon is a totally different animal. Just like the Boschett CD Joel posted, no one would ever have a clue other than the ZELOS TIMEKEEPERS LE on the case back. There is nothing on the dial other than a Z, GMT, 200m/660ft. The watch, specs, dial and design was settled upon from the get go, so it was a no-brainer. For me, it boils down to practicality and what I like on the dial of my watches. Unlike character watches, the group logo type stuff just doesn't do anything for me. I'm a Flyer's fan, but would not wear a watch with their logo on it, just is tacky for my own taste. I'll wear a team baseball cap, but that's about it. Even if part of the proceeds is going towards helping the forum that wouldn't matter. The money part is easy and I'm all for supporting the forum, I would just donate without having anything to do with the project.

Okay some like the big boys & others not so much, how about meeting in the middle around 46mm-48mm?

I think that the dial should have a flaming skull

How about a flaming skull on a bag of Cheetos? [crunchy of course].

Hey guys I'm easy the watch size in my collection is all over the place, so for me it won't be an issue on what size.

My logic was some may like 40mm & others maybe 52mm so the middle would be 46mm, what do I know?:dunno:

Hey, Wing offers 2 sizes a lot so when it's 42 & 52, you know where to find me.
