I realized this was the same model, but couldn't delete it. I would have posted in in the original pre-order thread.

FLG: question

Will the Corona Virus outbreak affect the project schedule ? if that were the case when do you think you'll be shipping?

Axios Watches: Answer

Yup! Many components of the Ironclad are produced in China, with assembly being in Hong Kong. Thanks!

So far things are still looking OK for our delivery timeline, it seems the assembly plant in Hong Kong isn't as badly affected. We will however, be watching very closely on this and providing more information in our February update coming soon in the next 2 weeks.

Anyway, things in Singapore are still looking alright as well (though the numbers of infected are rising), it's business as usual here at our office and warehouse. Still, stay safe everyone!

METEORITE

FIRST LIGHT METEORITE

Featuring golden hands and accents contrasting against a black sunburst dial and ceramic bezel with a splash of red at the 12 o'clock triangular marker. The Ironclad First Light owes its name to the dawn's facade: streaks of golden and red across a darkened sky.

The dials of our meteorite variants are cut from the Muonionalusta meteorite that fell in Northern Scandinavia, and are treated to a gunmetal dark grey hue.

OCEAN GULF METEORITE

The Ocean Gulf aka the Batman bears a blue-black ceramic bezel with a black sunburst dial. Lesser known is its colour affinity to the point where glacial melt water meets the offshore water of the Gulf of Alaska, creating a divergent blue-black.

The dials of our meteorite variants are cut from the Muonionalusta meteorite that fell in Northern Scandinavia, and are treated to a gunmetal dark grey hue.

"Dear backers,
March is fast approaching and I hope everyone is doing well!
I think many people have been concerned about whether the nCoV situation would have an impact on our shipping schedule. As of now, we are still on track to start shipping out the Ironclads in March as per our initial plan. We are aiming to get all the Ironclads shipped out before the end of March. If there are any changes, we will definitely let everyone know as soon as possible.
Additionally, we have also collected a small batch of the standard variant Ironclads. We’ve not taken any professional pictures of these standard variant production units yet so apologies for the hastily taken shots.
For the meteorite variants, we have also added some pictures in a gallery here: https://axioswatches.com/pages/meteorite. These pictures are slightly nicer because neither Justin, Elshan or myself took them.
Lastly, we are almost out of stock for our entire first batch of Ironclads! Currently, we have about 10 pieces of the Ocean Gulf Meteorite remaining.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and patience. It’s been a long wait, but the end is in sight!
Regards,
Stuart, Elshan & Justin"

Hi everyone,

There's been a lot of very sad news around the world with regard to the escalating number of cases of COVID-19 and I do hope everyone here is keeping safe and taking the necessary precautions. I just want to provide a quick update on when our backers can expect to receive their Ironclads.

At this point, we have received the majority of the watches and we are working hard to conduct a thorough QC before sending them out to everyone. We expect to receive the remaining batch of watches by early next week. As such, we plan to start shipping out the first batch of Ironclads (the ones that have already finished the QC process) by the middle of next week and we will try to get all the Ironclads out the door within a week and a half.

Attached here are a couple of pictures of some of the watches we have on hand.

Our plan for the Axios Ironclad campaign was to start shipping out the watches in March and if all goes well, we should be able to accomplish this. Depending on location, some backers may be able to receive their watches in March itself, however the majority should get them in early April.

We would like to thank everyone for your patience and support. The next update should come when the first batch of watches are sent out!

Take care and be safe.

Regards,

Stuart, Elshan & Justin

Today

Hi everyone,

We've received quite a number of requests from backers to change the shipping address on our records from their office address to their home address. This is due to office buildings being closed in view of the current situation. (COVID-19)

This is a reminder for anyone who needs to change their address to let us know at [email protected] as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

The day is finally here - your Ironclads will start shipping out today in batches!

We expect to take slightly more than a week to get all the orders for our Kickstarter backers out the door. You will also receive a notification email from either FedEx or DHL when your package is on it's way to you. Thank you so much for your patience, and we appreciate all the support you've shown us over the last several months.

As a young company, we are doing our utmost to ensure that despite the current situation, our delivery timelines remain relatively on schedule and our quality control in proper order. We are very happy at how the Ironclads have turned out. There may be slight delays in deliveries to certain countries due to the slowdown of logistics networks but rest assured, we will get the Ironclads to you.

As always, if you need to reach us regarding anything to do with your Ironclad, we are available through email and we will strive to respond as fast as possible.

Lastly, we are excited to see those wrist shots in the coming weeks! So please share them with us on our Facebook group

Just a heads-up folks. I recommend checking that your bracelet screws are secure as mine were all loose. I also suggest putting a dab of Lock-tight Blue on each screw to ensure they don’t come undone. After we’ve all waited so long I’d hate for anyone to lose their new watch. Lovely watch by the way.

When and Why to Use Purple Threadlocker

COVID-19 Update

It’s very easy to believe in the products you sell when those products are Henkel’s LOCTITE[SUP]®[/SUP] adhesives. But it’s even more important that our customers believe in our products. In working with customers every day, we often hear, “what is the difference between red and blue threadlocker?” Lately, though, we've been hearing more people ask about our Purple Threadlocker, LOCTITE[SUP]®[/SUP] 222™.

LOCTITE_222

LOCTITE[SUP]®[/SUP] Purple Threadlocker has many uses, from carburetor screws to eyeglasses to small screws on laptops. Due to its low strength, it can be removed with the same tool used to put the project together. It is available in an easy-to-use liquid application, which makes the product especially efficient with very small screw applications, less than ¼ inches in diameter.

In the feedback we receive from customers, many use it on automotive maintenance and motorcycle maintenance applications such as carburetor screws and firearms.

Some customers use it for around the house repairs like a crown knob in a wristwatch repair or on any of the many screws that can come loose in a laptop.
