Never saw this watch. Found this on EBAY and what I think is the seller must have modified this watch. It actually looks like the carbon MOW in red from the globe hour markers. The seller claims this watch is very rare. What do you think.

"The seller claims this watch is very rare."

If I've seen a seller say this once, I've seen it a hundred times... Rare is how I like my steaks cooked!

This definitely sounds like a "Buyer beware" situation to me, but I'm aways skeptical.

^^^^^^^^^^

I saw that yesterday. I really really like it. It appears it was a well done swap. I say go for it if you like the price

Just browsing. The seller wants $800 I actually have both watches that made up this one. I guess I don't but I have variation of the watch.

I like this watch. My 2 cents, having modified my own watches, I don't see a problem with this. All he did was switch the guts out of one MOW and slapped it in another MOW case. I think the whole thing is okay. I don't know that I would pay $800 for it, but I would buy it for $500.

I understand what you are saying. I am just saying, I wouldn't be afraid of this watch if I was thinking about buying it. I discount sales tactics like calling it rare. I am in the car business, I have heard everything and can see a sales pitch a million miles away. All comes down to how I feel about something and what the pics show. If I end up feeling like its a buy, I will get it. I don't feel like this is a buy, and I really don't want another massive MOW, but for the right money this watch could make sense.

Actually it looks like they changed the rotor as well IMO, but I could be wrong.

For that kind of money I could buy one of these when they come out for $800.00 or add another $180.00 or so for the meteorite dial .
