:hmm:BUILT LIKE A SUPERCAR

A unique watch made of supercar materials that would usually be near impossible to own, is now accessible to most.
How? Same quality, made differently - we aren't limited to one location, we don't pay premiums for materials, we don't use money to endorse celebrities or pay for high end showrooms, we don't have hundreds of staff and we don't limit ourselves to "watch making" machinery. We've consulted with car designers and engineers who've worked with horologists to use existing technology to innovate, not invent.
From this, Aventi was born...

Inspired by speed and time, our mission was to unite the world of horology and raw horsepower to create a supercar on your wrist.

Crafted with exotic materials and a tourbillon engine, the Aventi A-10 should've had a price tag of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But, it doesn't. Instead we've created a superwatch killer, and we're selling it for a fraction of the price.

The reason I say I'll believe the $500.00 they have plastered all over social media when I see it .................

Early bird access gets you over 50% off the retail price

Expected launch in MARCH 2020 on KICKSTARTER

A similar watch like this would easily cost a few hundred thousand dollars or more. We've made this watch Achievable.

Special early bird pricing of $1999 USD Kickstarter launching soon... Signup NOW!
Where have I heard this before? :hmm: Is it $500.00, $1,999 or a $1,000?
Is CH behind this project? :chuck:

I had a feeling the $500.00 was just overblown hype. :hmm:

Looks like the early bird pricing of $2,800 for the Pure Sapphire Crystal model and $999 for titanium-cased versions.

Aventi Makes The Tourbillon Accessible With The New A-10 Watch

MAR 25, 2020

https://www.ablogtowatch.com/aventi-...ew-a-10-watch/

In the world of luxury watchmaking complications, the tourbillon reigns supreme. As one of the most difficult and technically impressive mechanisms in mechanical timekeeping, the tourbillon has traditionally reserved for some of the world’s most exclusive and costly timepieces, priced well out of the reach of the average consumer. New luxury startup Aventi has attacked this cost barrier full force with its first watch, the A-10, offering ultra-luxe elements including tourbillons and full sapphire cases to the public at prices far below where these high-end components are usually offered. Inspired by the aggressive angular designs of modern supercars from the likes of Lamborghini and Pagani, the A-10 also offers a truly unique and modern look in a variety of vibrant colors.

The engine at the heart of the Aventi A-10 is a modified skeletonized Caliber 3450 handwound tourbillon movement. In addition to the signature tourbillon, this movement offers a smooth 28,800 bph sweep and a hefty 72 hour power reserve thanks to its dual mainspring barrels. Each movement is thoroughly inspected and tested for the utmost quality and accuracy, while maintaining incredible value.

As a first effort for a new brand, the Aventi A-10 is more than a stunning and distinctive tourbillon timepiece. The pricing of this watch is nothing short of revolutionary, bringing the rarefied realm of skeletonized tourbillon watches to a far wider base of collectors than ever before. The A-10 is due to debut on Indiegogo on March 31, with initial early bird pricing of $2,800 for the Pure Sapphire Crystal model and $999 for titanium-cased versions. For more information, please visit Aventi’s website.

An off-balance case like that almost never sits well on most wrists. I have a few watches of this shape and can't stand wearing them as I constantly have move it around to get it to sit right. Even the two pics they show of this on a wrist it just looks off and uncomfortable.

It's an interesting looking watch, something unusual so at $500 this might be a fair price for a good Chinese tourbillon movement, but certainly no more than that...
