Invicta is possibly the most hated watch brand in the world and maybe that's fair because of some of their designs and questionable marketing

I don't hate Invicta! I dislike some of their designs but that is personal taste! If you saw some of the stuff I like you would probably find some pieces you don't like and vice versa. My collection goes from some cheap Chinese stuff to Rolex Subs and a dozen things in between.

I do get enjoyment from each piece in my collection, even some of the ones I have to question what the heck was I thinking when I got this one!

One thing I will say about Invicta though is they sure can crank stuff out!

i know a lot are still very upset about the movement switch and other things, Mike... but when I wear mine, that's the last thing I think about. They still offer good bargains for what you get. IMO

I don't think about it either Eric, but the fact remains they duped buyers. In my mind there isn't anything wrong with the SW500. They are the ones who shoot themselves in the foot by not being forthright. This video was just like any other video for me that I will put up. It's the fragile ones who help torch these things. I've never used the word hate myself for any brand regardless of how I feel on a particular topic. This world has enough hate to cover the whole universe for eternity. This is just another hobby. I'm not going to cry about it if people bash Zelos or any other company, it's their money and opinion. If telling the truth about being scammed hurts, so be it.

Invicta is a total game package. All the shows, cruises, hosts, owner...everything. Oh yeah, and the watches. Do any of things mean a hill of beans...NO. Just lke the NFL cheerleaders. Pretty to look at, but nothing to do with the game. Like Mike says...buy what you like.

I don't know exactly how many Invictas I own but I'd guess somewhere around 20. I'd say I'm fine with half of them and regret buying the other half. Does that make me a hater? I don't know.

I have engaged in Invicta criticism on this site but I've also criticized other brands as well. I thought that was part of what a community like this was supposed to do. I know that my comments have upset certain people in the past but it was never my intention to "bash" Invicta but some people are more sensitive to that than others. I will say that if everything you post about Invicta is exclusively positive and, if even in the face of the most ludicrous design offering, you provide the out of "someone will buy it" or "they wouldn't sell it if it won't make money", then you should expect some critical responses on a public forum.

It's pretty simple, if Invicta releases something I like, I say something positive, if they release something I don't like (or lie about their product, or do something underhanded, etc.) I'm going to be critical.

@ftrez...you know the deal here...and yes "someone WILL buy it" ...It may not be me...or you...

Couldn't agree more. A lot watches I own from other brands have been talked about about in unflattering terms and I can more then handle it and that everyone doesn't like what everyone else does. If others don't like others differing opinions then they should and do go to sites that everyone is happy clappy and no darkness can shine through the light and everyone holds hands. Nothing wrong with finding what makes you happy, but I live in the world where not everyone agrees and everyone's opinion is allowed to be expressed and disagreements are more then okay, they are the accepted norm. Seems to me since some members left a long time ago there actually is less disagreements or actual interweb brawls not more. That kind of speaks volumes I think. Not that they were not great people(they were) it's just maybe they were more suited for a more beehive like minded place to be happy(which they deserve) at.

Invicta, smicta, if i like it i will buy it!, Done!. Im done worrying about what others think.

 I never had to be "done" because I never worried how others feel I should spend the money I earn. I think everyone here feels basically the same way, "buy what you like," not what anyone else thinks you should like.

I've never cared if someone else likes a watch if I like it, I like it. Like women, or music my choices are for me not what everyone else wants. I have a large collection of some of the weirdest Invicta's and other brands oddest pieces going back to 2002. Some are the ugliest watches made according to some and I can say I see why they would say that, but at the time that was what appealed to me. My tastes change but one thing I've never ignored though is Invicta's customer service problems, watches that have pieces fall off of them, lies about movements in them and many other fabrications that even though I buy and own a lot of them it is not lost on me their huge shortcomings. That's where former members got into trouble would zealously defend Invicta as since they never had a problem others who do have problems either were in the minority, whiners, or haters, or just trying to besmirch Invicta's name. I've had fun with Invicta's, still own tons, and occasionally still buy a new one. Doesn't mean I can't say how I feel about something as since I've bought enough of them to put one of eyals kids through a year of college means I've had experiences with the brand and it's okay to talk them out on a forum about watches. Good and bad.
