I wasn’t even that good this year. The alarm works perfectly.

Nice little vintage Seiko. Where was this shop ?? Do I need to tell you to fix that bezel :time:

Well, as someone ELSE who wasn't all that good this year, not to mention my binge-watching Star Trek TOS instead of going to all those Christmas parties my wife wanted us to go to, I did perty good m'self, but this one is a gorgeous piece of watch flesh, BD, and one that -- like its Presage cousins -- can look great on sporting occasions, and even more awesome during the more formal events. I love the blue and black color palette on the dial, and I am especially bowled over by the matching NATO/OTAN strap!

A couple of questions: Is the alarm sufficiently loud enough to awaken, say, a Fred Mertz type, who can sleep through an atomic war, or is it more of a wake-the-hamster-at-six kind of thing? Secondly, and this will certainly show my iggnorents about 'larm watches, is it a quarts wartch ore is it uh ottometric timepeace?

In any case, and at any rate, it's a true beauty, one that you're no doubt going to enjoy wearing, so CONGRATULATIONS, mon ami!! May you enjoy the H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks outta it for many, many moons, kemosabe...!! (A little Native American lingo for you, BD!) Wear it in good health, and all of that stuff!!

Ha, I'm a bit partial to that NATO --

Sweet vintage pick up there! Congrats!

And, wow, impressive watch laboratory! A well run service center always makes me feel better, like taking your pet to a really awesome vet.
