Sea Base 14281

Had it on strap but sold it. I would have kept it if it was on bracelet. I like it a lot. Well done

Congrats Eric. The SB line was a short-lived "in-store only" project that became a watered down line. The original models where some outstanding watches in a unique package from Invicta, but as usual they dropped the ball.

Thanks Mike...I know mine is just another quartz, and nothing was mentioned about sending the cool wood box. I just like these oversized pieces with all the upgrades.

This may be "only a quartz" Eric, but I'll take it 24/7 over the watered down versions of the automatics offered in the SB lineup today.

I own the same exact one as RW, very nice watch, and it came with the box that is still useful. I have a blackIP rosetone bezel quartz from the same re-issue as Eric and like that one as well.

Great find. I was fortunate to pick up several from the Sea Base line when they first came out, including a similar Titanium diver. Best aspect was sapphire crystal on all of them. As RW mentioned, a shame they didn't carry it forward and develop it more. Seemed an ideal path toward greater brand credibility.

Congrats on your find!

That is one very sharp timepiece, one I've admired since its release, as it reminds me of the SAN III, my favorite big Invicter... And in titanium, too! Definitely a double word score, in term of Horological Scrabble, a game I just made up from whole cloth. But I digress.

CONGRATULATIONS on a truly superb pick up, mon ami. Enjoy it for many years to come! :dizzy: :hmm:

I would hang tight Eric. It could be anything. A missed scan or whatever. The tracking is only as accurate as the scans, etc. Good luck, but I think it will pop up again in the system. That has been my experience anyhow, but every situation is different. My Phoibos Great Wall was delivered and it still shows a delivery exception and the status has not been updated.

Thanks Mike...There wasn't one update after USPS took possession of it... and the weather hasn't been that bad.
It was suppose to be here Monday. We'll See ???

I've had items sit in a trailer going from one point to another. I was told by USPS supervisor that a trailer could sit for days on end before it gets to be scanned. I don't know how true that information was. If the USPS supervisors are anything like the "supervisors" where I work, who basically are clueless most of the time, I would take it with a grain of salt.

In light of your predicament Eric, we need a funny story here.
On the news all they talk about is how ramped up Amazon’s delivery Is this year.
The wife ordered something small (some labels) and it came today in a brown envelope...
Delivered by UPS. She opened it and inside it was empty with just the packing slip LOL.
Amazon’s delivery service is now faster than the products. Hilarious!
It gets better, when we called Amazon they have no record of it being shipped!
They claim their truck was supposed deliver it not UPS!
Suffice to say, They quickly cancelled & refunded the credit & we re-ordered.
Too Funny!
I hope your watch box comes soon & has something in it.
Hate to wait!
