Hey there everyone. Today I give you a good look at the Formex Essence and a demonstration of the quick change bracelet and straps along with the quick adjust features on both the bracelet and the strap buckle.

Yes, this is a long video, but I hope you all enjoy.

To claim your free strap when ordering, you need to click one of the links below. The code will be automatically applied at checkout and your strap will be free. Again, this is good for any watch on the Formex website with the exception of preorders. Again, this promotion from Formex is good till the end of this year (2019).

Interesting company name...:pop:

Maybe to you and some others the name is an issue, but I have not trouble with it. It all comes down to the watch for my money, not the name.

With the conversion rate on my pre-order I spent $366 and change for my ETA 2824-2 version. IMO that isn't too shabby for the movement between a sapphire sandwich on a very cool strap with an exception clasp. I couldn't see buying the bracelet as an upgrade for $166.00 USD. I almost purchased the bracelet + two straps of your choice KS upgrade package later offered for $201.84

Hard to judge what something is by a name. Ball on some of my watch dials. Ball can be a testicle, something used in many sports too numerous to name. "having a ball, etc.

Ball gets plenty of exposure in all walks of life.

Lastly, about that name, Nixon — where did it come from? “All the good names were taken,” remembers DiNenna. The partners wanted a name they could build meaning into, yet that could be trademarked and held no crazy ulterior definitions in other languages. They tried out their choices on a group of snowboarders and coaches at a Mount Hood summer camp. “The opinionated snowboarders had something to say abut every name we threw at them. When we said ‘Nixon’ they all stopped and thought about it. One kid finally spoke up, ‘I think my mom said he did something wrong once.’ We realized we had a name that was recognizable, but blank, and that their parents didn’t like, which seemed like an added bonus, since we weren’t making watches for anybody’s mom!”
So how does it feel to have done it, and when did they know Nixon had made it?
