The Orient Mako III, also known as the ‘Kamasu’, is the latest Orient diver from the Mako/Ray watch collection. In terms of visual, the theme for the Kamasu, is suppose to resemble the sharp teeth, fearsome barracuda, which in Japanese , translates to “Kamasu”.
The bulletproof material Kevlar has specific woven texture & non-shinny appearance, however poor flexibility. One of our best sellers is the Kevlar finishes synthetic watch straps, the material that can bend like nylon fabrics but looks like Kevlar. Here comes the new generation of Kevlar liked material, this time we applied it on genuine leather with improved fine texture and special touch. A special coating was applied to the watch strap to give an extra water-repellent protection which is not so common in the leather watch strap. Watch strap was made in extra long length also can fit larger size of wrist.

Just by looking at the Kamasu without checking the specs, you would already think its a great deal knowing you can add it to your collection for less than 300.00USD. Then when you think it couldn’t get any better, but then you realize the Kamasu operates with their latest F692 caliber, along with 22 jewel, 21,600 VPH oscillating frequency, creating smoothness in the movement of the second hand.
Zulu JB 3 rings military watch strap double thickness high density ballistic nylon. Approximate 1.5mm thick, tight up with five 316L stainless steel ring. New palette of subtle colors strip, look excellent on military or classic-looking dive watches. Nylon are cut and simultaneously sealed using ultrasonic knives to prevent fraying.

One of the key changes with the Kamasu that Orient watch fans must be thrilled about is that Orient finally decided to replace the glass material from hardened glass, to sapphire glass.
Antipode CrocoCalf Collection is 100% stitching by hand. Waxed thread was used on this beautiful genuine matte crococalf for extended durability. This croco grain embossed crocodile’s square grain which looks like the real thing but only cost in a calf leather watch strap.

Visually, the Kamasu remain with a classic diver look, yet, it still give a strong, masculine features. The Kamasu is more refined where the needle and numbers are designed to be larger and thicker to support to see much better in low light, dark, water environment.
Antipode CrocoCalf Collection is accented with brown tone Italian vegetable tanned leather loop as strap holders, for a one-of-a-kind Ammo style replacement watch strap.
Overall, the Kamasu is a stylish watch that will be suitable for nearly any outfit and nearly every occasion. You can wear the watch during swimming with its 200m water resistance (although it’s not suited for air diving), but it will also look great with a suit or casual wear.
