Nicely done, review and pix. Congrats!
I did notice the comment on the lume. Wing as went from being among the best in the business back in the Android days to very unimpressive lume on the Aragon models as far as longevity goes.
Hey RW, so is that just a cheaper grade of Superluminova then, being used? Or...less of it? Or just depends on the type they use? I'm not educated in that area, other than reading of various designations of SL, C with a number after it, also BGW9 I think. I wish everybody had Seiko's magic stuff. The only Swiss watch I have on par with Seiko, for lume, is my Breitling.
If we’re talking Super-Luminova, the way the paint was applied can make a big difference. A thicker layer of lume will be brighter than a thin one of equal area, but also a wide line will appear brighter than a narrow one, even if the paint is of equal thickness – an optical trick played by our eyes. Luminova paints are also available with different particle sizes – the bigger the particles, the brighter it’ll be.
