    Any opinions on Davosa ?

Looking at Davosa watches. Anyone had any experience with the brand and care to share an opinion.

I am specifically looking at the Argonautic line

    Thanks

I feel like they are quality watches but I've never owned one.

This Trailmaster is on my "buy" list:

I am quite familiar with the Davosa brand -- they are one of the truly serious upcoming microbrands in this age and time. I don't own an Argonautic but I have had a Davosa Ternos Professional TT GMT Blue Black for two years and a few months now. It is a really solid Rolex GMT Master II tribute design and I don't mind admitting that because Davosa have done it exceptionally well. Plus, of course, the price. Awfully difficult - practically impossible - to find anything better on the market. Maybe they could've made the crown just a tad smaller but that's a story for another day

Now I have always been aware of their Argonautic line but back then all the rave was about Ternos for obvious reasons (because of the Rolex connection vs Argonautic which tributes Omega Seamaster, I think). But I do believe that the Argonautic is a good model as well. I was browsing through their website recently and I noticed they have added a few bronze pieces to the Argonautic collection. Those watches have caught my eye -- they are absolutely cool! I grabbed a few pics:

    Argonautic Bronze Blue

My eyes water from just looking at them. I thought bronze was gone forever but Davosa has brought it back in style. At this point I don't know if I might trade in my Ternos or if I should just open up the coffers and add one of these beauties to my one-watch "collection".

Other thing I can confirm about Davosa from my experience dealing with them is that they are a professional brand. Shipping to Memphis (Tennessee) was quick and free (they ship for free all across the USA) and they have a solid two-year warranty/guarantee on any of their watches.

As of now I just agree with Bryant_nuk. I just purchased the same 42mm Black/blue bezel Ternos GET Batman. The TIMEpiece is solid. You don't hear the movement when winding. The ceramic bezel almost mimics the look of the Rolex. The black dial is a rich black with some pop that too mimics the Rolex. The bracelet is solid and hefty with a solid diver clasp. My only disappointment with the bracelet is, it doesn't have the polished center links as the oyster bracelet is fully brushed. Link removal is done by unscrewing one solid screw that screws into the bracelet link.
I forgot the movement is a Eta 2893.2 that keeps excellent time. This is my only Davosa to date and I doubt it will be my last. A well made TIMEpiece.
    I don't sweat I condensate and YYYeess...I'm still cool !
