Hello all. First a Merry Christmas to everyone. Secondly I have a question--and I don't expect any replies today for obvious reasons--but here goes.
I recently got my first Aragon. It is a 50mm Ultra Open Heart piece. This morning I decided to try and resize it so I could wear it today. Here's where the "dope" part comes in. Not the slang meaning or the pharmaceutical meaning but the idiot meaning. UGH! After I took out one of the pins, I realized that it did not have one of those corresponding arrows matched to it. I'm sure you know the arrows I am referring to. Long story short.....if my life depended on it I couldn't get it back in. In fact I actually bent it. Question: With a replacement pin do you think a jeweler would be able to fix it for me so I could actually wear the Aragon bracelet that came with the watch or do you think that even before DAY #1 I have to invest in a new bracelet/strap? I feel like such a dunce. To me the true beauty of a watch is in the face anyway. The band/strap while important is secondary.
Now that you have a sense of my Yuletime Idiocy.....what say you? And be NICE! It's Christmas
PS: Thankfully the watch itself went unharmed
