Just feels right to post here again about my Corduba Enforcer. With an SW500.
On top of the original purchase price I also paid for a repair, the very one that ended up causing this thread to get started to begin with. And now, the same watch is off for a second identical repair along with it's associated big invoice. If it fails again I'm calling the watch cursed, exorcising the demon, and smashing the thing with a hammer. Done.

On a slightly side note, the only member I'm aware of who actually sent in his Corduba Enforcer and had the BiGI install the as advertised ETA7750, now also needs a repair. He can no longer push in the stem and screw down the crown. Seems there's a problem with something but he has yet to send it anywhere for a repair. He won't be sending it to the BiGI.

I expect to hear from TWR any day now telling me my watch is repaired and ready to be returned.

Man o man. Rip the movement out and throw that watch away. Go on eBay and buy a case that movement will fit in and build your own watch.

Sent from the White House on the tax payers dime.

I just noticed that mine has the same problem that the crown won't screw in anymore.. I'm going to check with a local shop first and see if the part necessary for repair is non proprietary. If not , I will have to send mine back also......if I get the urge.....I might just use the watch as a wheel chock....
    Hazy....try again...

One of the issues with my watch was the crown only screwed in about a half turn. Of course I was concerned that it wasn't sealing properly so included checking and repairing it on the service request form. When I received the estimate there was nothing about the crown and stem tube on it so I asked them to double check the request and get back to me. They confirmed they had looked at it and that it was fine.

Ok, fine. One of the things TWR does when they work on a watch is verify/test the watch for leaks. If it does leak through the crown they'll find it.

    Arrived today.
The watch seems to operate much more smoothly that it ever has. The crown and stem are much easier to use, much more smooth to pull and operate. Before, the stem took much more effort to pull to set the watch but now it clicks out without much effort. And the watch winds much more smoothly than before.
This all makes me feel like the previous repair was crap.

Anyway, I hope this repair lasts. One of my favorites works again and will get put into the rotation but if it fails me again.....
