Kevin Durant left OKC and went to Golden state....

I love the move. I also love that clay bennet the Team Owner, can't void this deal the way he nixed the sale of the Sac. Kings to a Seattle group. So glad to see his bad Karma is biting him in the ass! Love Durant and am rooting for the Warriors and I will continue to spite clay bennet and the Oklahoma Thunder!!

On my couch watching the 4th of July Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest 70 for Joey Chestnut in 10 minutes. When an alert came on my phone about Durant going to the Warriors. I'm happy for him as he made his decision & I respect it. Kinda sad for OKC & the fans to lose such a player.

Now I'm curious to see how it plays out with Westbrook as maybe OKC trades him before they lose him without any compensation or I can believe in miracles & he somehow goes to the Knicks this year or next year.

We'll see who on that team starts to get pissy about not getting enough shots first. Steph, Durant, and Klay all like to shoot about 25 shots a game. Green likes his shots as well. On paper a stunning team yet it doesn't improve their defense as they will be dumping Bogut. Did the team with the greatest record in history need this move. Can't blame them as they won the lottery, but Steph the league mvp being the fourth highest paid player on his own team will he get a little jealous . Great fun to speculate and can't wait to see them next year.

curry is gonna have to cut back to 150 3's a game now

News Flash!!!

Kevin Durant signs with the Golden State Warriors.

In related news, the rest of the NBA's Pacific Division has officially forfeited the upcoming season.

Very very weak! "If you can't beat them join them"?! Please!? I didn't see him going to my Knick but good lord man, respect yourself and be the super star you claim you are. Team up with others who couldnt quite get over the hump. He could have gown with 4-5 other teams and made them true contenders. Clippers, Toranto or even dear I say it Boston I'm not mad at him just disappointed. Plus I don't get how the league stopped the whole CP3 trade years ago and then let this thing go down with GSW? So so whack!!!!

I was at the breakfast table watching ESPN!

The Westgate SportsBook here in Vegas predicts Golden state will win 83 out of 82 regular season games

They definitely need to pass/ share the ball, especially when their shot hand goes a bit cold! It will fun to see what happens in the
coming season.

Don't think so and need to save their energy and play for the playoffs. Not have the best win record and
be worn down for the title.

This is very weak on KD. I can't stand when players who should be great enough to carry their team had to defect in order to win a championship a la the king. I get going somewhere else and getting money but it's like buying your ring. I guess I'm just old school and building a winner around a great player or two. In my day I guess MJ should have just defected to the Celtics or the Bad Boys if he couldn't beat them. Very weak I think :(

I agree with you 100% Danny, but I can also understand today's young athletes who are raised to think "I gotta get a ring(s) NOW" and "I gotta get into the Hall later" or else I'll be forgotten forever, "Oh and by the way I need a $neaker deal and a $alary higher than the last athlete"

I'm a life-long and long-suffering Golden State Warriors fan. I've suffered long enough through Chris Washburn, trading Robert Parish away, Chris Cohan ownership, PJ Carlisemo being choked, Joe Smith, Mike Dunleavy, and 20 win seasons year after year. It's about time that the Warriors get their time in the sun and I'm *LOVING* it. One thing that I have learned after the 49ers dynasty years and that is if other teams' fans hate you and your team, that is a good thing...a VERY good thing!

So, if you hate the Warriors after their 3 or so years of winning basketball, thank you - thank you very much! Us long suffering Wariors fans love it!

I can't wait until the 2016-2017 season starts!

:eek:ff: The topic was "Kevin Durant" and/or "Where you were", not your long suffering!
Stay on topic Loco, stay on topic, LOL!

Not sure how players who have been loved by most everyone like Durant, Curry, Thompson are going to like being the league target or villain. Green will love it but the other guys are used to universal love. That's mostly over with this move. Just the nature of the beast. Have to admit as a fan I'm probably going to be rooting for it to fail. As a fan of the game it could and should be awesome to watch the offensive possibilities of the Warriors. Should be a fun year next year.
