Just the Watch

I'm giving this watch away! It will be part of my massive post-pandemic giveaway that I'll be holding once the Japanese post office begins shipping packages internationally again.

3/8/2021 - THIS WATCH HAS NOT BEEN POSTED TO ZELOS SITE YET. IT IS NOT SOLD OUT. IT HAS NOT LAUNCHED.

More quick release spring bars :(

It does look like the case back is a bit thicker then the Swordfish so maybe the quick release spring bars won't jab my wrist.

Elshan already mentioned they are not going away. The majority love them. Maybe you should look at something else that doesn't have them for your own comfort. :hmm:

The photo above was from someone who purchased a Zelos secondhand. The previous owner did not put back the bracelet on correctly with the right size pins. That won't happen if the QR pins stay intact.

I have some spare spring bars if you need, do email me your address and I’ll mail some over for free

hmmmmm very interesting.

I have been one of those people who has said I would love to own a Horizons but not at 39mm. Now for me personally the Horizons GMT is the watch I was talking about. Similar as it is, the bi-color bezel and GMT design while almost the same appeals more to me. STill I will be tempted, esp if Elshan gives me a couple months to work off my two most recent purchases with the missus.... lol

I love that fume style, etched dial and a burgundy dates wheel is so cool. I love how the text "horizons" with the W/R pops off the dial. Sweet looking bezel insert. Don't love the movement at that price. I mean $359 I guess is the borderline for buying an NH35 IMO. I'd rather be under $300 for the NH35. They will probably sell out so they probably won't be offered at whatever the full retail price would be.

I guess like many other pieces the specs are what is impressive here so $359 for all the rest (ceramic, color match date wheel, sapphire, great lume), is nice.

The funny about the NH35 price ratio Gavin is that no matter which one gets used, some folks are going to never be happy. I made the point this morning with OLEG. The guy gets the watch for nothing, takes two months to review it and complains about the price and no extra strap.

I paid $429.00 for my (Miyota 9000 series) Crimson Blacktip and even with the sloppy lume on the crown I love it. I told ET about the lume and he wanted to send me another. The point Oleg was making is moot. They all usually sell out except for the color he was reviewing and never see the $499.00 price.

The ADs seem to have no trouble selling them for the extra cabbage.

I think the $350.00 range for the quick adjust ratchet clasp and other specs is a good price. I'm not saying you can't get them cheaper. The few more dollars is worth it to me knowing the brand has my back and the lume, bracelet and other things are up to par. Consistency rules over the unknown.

wow...looks like when i borrowed my dad's car in high school... QR pins learning curve

A very sharp looking piece to be sure. :dance2: Thanks Mike.:hat:

I like just the watch reviews, he seams to care about wearing a watch and making real comments. I watched a new Neptuno review the other day and I don’t believe the guy even wore it a day before the review. It shows!

I don't get how he uses graphics that say "flawless" then proceeds to say the bezel grip isn't great and the bracelet was harder to size than it should be.

I'm not at all saying those things should be deal breakers, I'm just saying you can't call something flawless if you've found flaws... seems straight forward.

that said I did enjoy his review.

I honestly think that micro-brands should stop feeding YouTube reviewers. I don't think that they have a healthy symbiotic relationship. In most cases, it looks like pure parasitism. Of course, there are few exceptions like # JustTheWatch in which the reviewer really does his job and analyzes the watch. Anyway, if you agree with me... please email your favorite micro-brand and tell them that they do not need to give away free watches to make you purchase one. Instead of paying for advertising, they could just lend the watch for the review and pass the savings directly to you

Helllooo, I look forward to Jodys moons and niggels, even though I’m sure that’s an Aussie term. He also always hits Zelos on there 1 year warranty, he is consistent

Elshan sent me the photos of the 43mm horizon, but the only colors I know so far on the HH are the blue + green ones in the link below. I think there will be more colors in the HH. The prices for the Horizon 43 and the HH should be around $350.00 (349) and probably + $80.00 = ($429) or so extra for the meteorite.
