Wicked Watch Company: Our application for a more strict SWISS MADE label was approved.

Yea, he needs to worry about delivering a finished product on time before he needs to worrry about this. Sounds like his own kickstarter that is like tge "invincible guarantee"

Have you any experience with any trinkets of his? What product have you ever received that was unfinished of his?

I'm very happy with my three trinkets. The first one had an issue with a crown stem being cut too short, but I've seen that happen with ZELOS and other brands before as well.

Mine came with an nh35 in it, when I asked for an nh38.
That’s not finished as far as I’m concerned.

The case backs on some read NH35, but in actuality they are NH38 movements. They should have checked to make sure the specs were correct I agree. No excuse for that. Borealis has done it more than a few times with having the wrong WR rating or other information that doesn't match. Elshan may have one movement number on the prototype cases, but he has always managed to put the correct information on the production models.

Mike, just to be clear, i purchased my watch expecting a nh38 not a nh35.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I don't care too much because mine has the correct movement. In your case, like I said back when it happened I would have made him send me the right one. No one is going to see the case back anyhow. Folks can tell with no ghost position that it has the NH38 without having to crack the back open.

Hey Mike sorry to hear about your problem.
I just received mine and I checked it for a similar problem.
It has "no date" but the crown does pull out two postions like it was a NH35.
Not sure why but I ordered the no date option.

Bummer man. I noticed my warranty card reads the NH38, but the case back shows NH35. I would shoot him an email and ask him about it. I'm in the process of printing all the docs out and putting a customs envelope on the outside of the package with five copies to pass through customs. Once it's ready I'm dropping it off. Good luck with your trinket KT and thanks.

These folks need to do a better job. They cut corners and think it is okay after the fact. Elshan had a whole production (COMET) redone because he was not comfortable with the name of the trinket because OMEGA had one with the same name,.

Clarification on the water resistance information on the Prometheus Eagle Ray

You are receiving this email as you have pre-ordered a Prometheus Eagle Ray.

You may have noticed that the case back of the watch states its water resistance is rated to 500m and the dial is of 300m.

The watch has been engineered and tested to 500m. However during tests it was noticed that after a few tests on the same watch the crown that operates the internal bezel would start to wear faster after exposure to 50ATM (500m pressure).

It was therefore decided that the watch would be labelled instead as 300m water resistance (avoiding crown fatigue).

As this was decided after casebacks were made there is a mismatch between dial and case back information.

However this does not compromise whatsoever the water resistance rating of watch and can be used safely without any fatigue up to 300m. More than that pressure crown fatigue may occur though the watch is able to withstand it during submerge.

Mike, I appreciate what you are saying.
I disagree that an nh38 is really an nh35
He offered an nh38, I ordered an nh38, I waited patiently and if I wasn’t aware of ghost positions, I would have got something I didn’t want this go round plain and simple.
Regarding the idea of sending it back wasn‘t something I was comfortable doing for a number of reasons.
There were others on the forum that expressed concern whether they would ever receive their watches because of all the chaos concerning promises not kept.
Im saying I won’t be purchasing another W. W.for the same reason I won’t be using K.S to buy it on.
I am saying that there is more than one member whose opinion of Wicked Watch poor and caution should be taken.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall others here @ WIT being concerned they would be ripped off receiving their trinkets. Maybe on another forum or on the KS page, but if I missed it I would like to see who it was. I know Keaton had that issue, but beside a few delays Pascal was always transparent and kept everyone in the loop.

Who said that an NH38 and NH35 are the same? Whomever said that is clueless. One is used for a non-date dial and does not have a ghost crown position. Same thing as the Miyota 9015 vs the 9039.

As far as anyone with bad or good experience. They both are valid and should be factored into the buying process of any brand. Folks who never owned or purchased a trinket in question from companies talking trash without every having personal experience is a totally different topic.

After the first two Pearl Divers, I gave them another shot and picked up the Damascus for $899 and I have no complaints. Buzz grabbed one as well.
I understand how you feel and I don't blame you. We all have our likes, dislikes and thresholds that may not be on the same page as others. That's what makes the world go around.

I'm curious what the reference number for the movement showed on your warranty card. (like the image in #248 post) Was it the NH35 or 38?

Below is what he told me about the case backs when I questioned Pascal. I didn't buy mine from KS. He invoiced me for mine and charged me the same price.

Pascal Dominik Isenegger

We just did one case back which was NH35 at the the time. We let Kickstarter customer choose between both until one month before delivery. We didn't produce 2 case backs per watch 😁

I was only curious, but that's up to you KT. The main thing is you enjoy yourself for the holidays and travel safe. The trinket addictions take a back seat for those things in life.
