Why they don't spend more developing women's watches

I was going to start a new thread, but I think I will just add or maybe the word is grouse (complain) to this one. I feel very abandoned by Invicta and Aragon. The day was when a new watch was intro'd in two sizes, and I used to look forward to the watch shows, but not anymore. All of the watches seem to be either very large, or very bling. I barely look at the watch shows anymore because there won't be anything I can wear. All I see are Bolts in many different configurations. Which is fine if you like the Bolt, or Zeus. How many 40mm automatic divers do I need? That seems to be what is available for women. What I would love to have are not offered in a size I can wear. How about a nice three hand Venom auto in a smaller version. How about another Sub I for the women? How about all the wonders of Wing being offered in a size smaller than 45mm, since those pieces are so heavy. How about I just shut up now!!!

I totally understand your plight. As a female who likes the 45-52mm size range, I am lucky. Even though I don't have a large wrist at about 7", anything under 45 mm looks weird to me. So I am mostly happy with my choices, though I do wish there were more midsize versions from Invicta in particular, lately. Everything tends to be nearer 50 mm from them in recent months, which is on the upper end of my range. Aragon at least, seems to be offering a lot in two sizes so far, 45 and 50. I don't know what happened to offering styles in two sizes, more like 38 and 48. If I had smaller wrists or liked smaller sizes, I would be as frustrated as you are. There sure isn't a lot available in the 38-40 mm range anymore and what is available is usually more fashion-oriented and less about decent movements and components. The problem is that women are definitely in the minority in the watch world, so they must not feel a pressing need to cater to us. Best of luck and maybe the tides will turn for you.

Give Wing a chance. He just started development for his new brand. He has always had some for the ladies. As for Invicta, I can't say. It seems to me that those watches come in spurts. My wife is slowly making her way into the watch collecting and has a few Invictas. They are all around 40mm, but she likes the bling. She has a Morganite PD in Rose Gold, and Diamond Lupah, and some mosaic MOP dials as well. Just hang in there, I am sure something is waiting in the wings.

Invicta does go in "spurts." On my wrist, 38mm works great. But who wants 20 38mm watches? (I don't have that many in that size. It's just a rhetorical question.)
When was the last time we had a Swiss Auto in a true woman's size? Has it been five years? When was the last time you say a chronometer for women? (By Invicta.) These do exist out there, just be prepared to spend a lot of money. I mean a lot. I might have said this already, but oh well. (That was a while ago.)

Yes, I agree Javaqueen. They definitely gear the women's watches toward fashion, not substance as much. I have two COSC watches, both in the 47-48mm range. I guess most women just want bling and beauty (which I also like--have many gemstone watches too) and don't care as much as the guys about specific movements, etc. I think we are in the minority, unfortunately. Best of luck!

Michael Kors seems to make more watches for women than men.

Yes, I do agree with Wambo. As long as you're not hung up on getting an Android or Invicta in particular, there are choices to be had. There is a better selection in the fashion brands like Michael Kors.

Your correct, seems there are many more men's designs available.
I'm sure Wing is eyeing this issue so hopefully will step up to the plate.

Whom ever steps up to the plate with designs attractive to women then
they will do very well, and priced reasonably of course.
