SWISS SUPER LUMINOVA​

We filled the minute and hour hands, and dial dot indices with Swiss Super LumiNova to match the Meridian Series' simple, classic aesthetic. Each application can glow up to 15 hours with a full UV charge.

NODEX MICRO-ADJUSTING CLASP​

We partnered with Nodus to bring you a clasp that takes the hassle out of fine tuning the fit of your watch. With a simple button push, you can add a 1/2" of micro-adjustments to ensure a comfortable bracelet year round.

CUSTOM MECHANICAL MOVEMENT​

Meridian Manual Winds are fully assembled and regulated to +/- 5 seconds per day in our shop in Portland, Oregon. Each mechanical movement has black rhodium plated bridges, snail finished ratchet wheels, and iridescent blued screws.

We're excited to introduce the latest from VERO Watch Company- The Meridian Manual Wind Series. This series is assembled and regulated in-house in our shop in Portland, Oregon by our watchmaker, Kaine. Each watch is regulated to +/- 5 seconds per day and has a 42 hour power reserve when fully wound.

Hearkening back to the original Rally and Sunset Manual Winds from 2019, the Meridian Series has the same retro aesthetic, slim profile, and exhibition caseback to show off the inner workings. However, the Meridian Series also has some additional updates made to the fortification of the case and crown, as well as a brand new, highly articulated bracelet.

VERO's focus has been mainly on men's watches, but the Meridian series has a unisex fit. This is a modern adventure watch. It's even been called the "perfect weekender watch". The Meridians are a 38mm watch, making it an ideal fit for most wrist sizes. Plus, the articulated bracelet comes custom sized pre-shipment so it fits upon delivery. The Meridian Manual Wind's official launch coincides with this years Wind Up Watch Fair 2023 in San Francisco, put on by Worn & Wound.

• Closing thoughts:
o On wrist – Simple and well-balanced wear, thicker 3.3mm strap well composed and comfortable paired with the deployant buckle
o Model Variants – Also available in a bronze variation, check site links for current options and availability
o Comparable models – Dress watches are definitely making a comeback but we’re still pretty far away from a time where I’m able to easily reference even a handful of standout comparables, but let me know which models you think would compare well in terms of price, features and execution
o Bottom-line – Personally, I like the mashup of style and substance that this VERO Watch Co. x Wildwood & Co. Studio Edition collab offers, while some collectors might struggle over dressing up a dive watch, I’d much prefer to see brands take this route and just build dressy watches that built tough enough for daily and even sporty wear

Now if I had a dollar for every time I wanted to track the tide I would have no dollar but if you’re a surfer or enjoys fishing for instance, and don’t want to wear a gshock bur rather something mechanical with tons of personality, than this one is for you and even if you spend more time surfing than working, you might even be able to afford it too.
