:hmm:
Mine hit a clearance in progress wall and has been stuck for a few days @ Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
The delivery date has changed and now shows no scheduled delivery date available at this time.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for your email.Yes, definitely not normal. I have been contacting FedEx for 2 days and waiting for customs to clear the export release.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best Regards,
Carlos Carvalho

"4 months later and Charles de Gaulle is still having issues. I sent an Urgent letter from Switzerland to France (normally would take 2 days) and it's been stuck there for the last 10 days. Really sucks to be paying lots of money for express service and get this experience. But it sucks even more because the content of the package was really needed over there. I should have gone with regular post (would have been 8 times cheaper and taken actually 4 days)."

"When I called the customer service told me there was a strike 🤣. I didn't believe it so I googled only to find many people having the same issues. Anyone know how long I can expect to wait on my package?"

"Shipped from Germany, came through Belgium, ARRIVED at the destination sorting center, and instead of going for delivery, it veered off to the other end of the country."

Thanks for this update, Mike.
It's all part of the game Dayman. It looks like this could be a long, drawn out wait. FedEx is being very shady about things in France. They won't deny or admit a strike. They won't answer Carlos either it seems. I'm hunkering down to maybe see in by mid-September or so. They are standing still. They first tried to say it was delayed because of improper paperwork, but that was quickly debunked.

Now I can see why Elshan is using DHL more.

Hopefully it works out for ya man. You know my disgust for FedEx, so I'll leave it at that.

Carlos just told me "I have been in touch with Fedex. Last news is that it is waiting for a person to come back from holidays in France
to clear the package, totally crazy I know."

Yeah it sounds crazy for sure. A big operation like that and they have one person who clears packages and if they are out or off nothing moves. The backup would be so massive they would be clearing packages from 2019 in 2022 with just one person doing things..

:no:A real mess for sure.:dizzy:Hoping only the best results, your way, Mike.

Thanks Dayman. I would be disappointed if I don't get the trinket, but I'm not worried about Carlos making good. He is contacting them again tomorrow to push harder for true facts and not absurd stories about things stop when one person is on holiday.

Kinda sounds like "Poor Management", with no "Back Up" plan.:dunno: I think you have seen this before, and so have I.
