The past two years, I've grown quite comfortable with 40mm, 39mm and 38mm watches. The question was could I be comfortable with something smaller and if I could what would that watch look like? It would look a lot like the Traska Commuter. After wearing this for a few days, here are my first impressions.

I adore the minimal branding on the dial. The logo and font size are spot on. Just the Logo, Traska and Automatic.
I chose the Traska Commuter because I love the stick markers and hands. It’s a classic look and the style offers great visibility. Yeah, it takes some cues from the OP but IMO Traska’s design is better without the unnecessary double-sticks at 3,6,9.
I wanted to try something small, but I didn't want dainty. I love that the case side is a curvaceous slab and how it makes up the bulk of the watch. This gives the watch head a robust feel and look. Also, the 20mm lug width gives the watch wide stance on the wrist, adding to its presence.
The signed clasp with perlage finish is a nice touch.
The watch hands are ideal length. The hour hand just nearly misses the hour markers in its revolution while the minute hand almost grazes the rear black minute markers. The second hand connects with all the black minute markers.
Dial has an eggshell finish with a perfect mint green pantone. I just can’t capture the precise color with my phone camera.
The 30.8 mm diameter box sapphire crystal forms a beautiful dome over the face of the watch. The crystal sits 1.4mm above the bezel. Because the watch is mostly dial, this dome covers the watch. Solid female end links transition beautifully into the bracelet.
On my 7", not especially flat wrist, the Commuter definitely has a place.
