Looking for feedback on Invicta silicone straps please. Anyone have any for years, that you actually wore, without breakage?
I've read many problems w crumbling poly straps, and we've all seen my favorite Uncle E video where he snaps a silicone live on Shopvine šŸ˜†.

Any longer term real world experiences? Worth buying?

Seriously, I've NEVER had a Silly-cone strap fail...

advice on invicta straps.. sure simply DO NOT entertain the idea that these straps will last the will fail they will crumble ive had them fall off my wrist, crumble in the watch winder and more

I have had half dozen silicone straps crumble, get soft and jelly like, get sticky.
From bye-gone daze of the Sunday Run.

Looks like thats actually a poly strap...

Regardless of what that says I own the trinket and took the POS strap off because it was a lint magnet. Suddenly you have a leap of faith about things you read in print from Invicta .. too funny man. If they can be up front about movements inside they could change anything else on the fly as well.

I would not rust any straps from them. I'd get one from another source if sillykone is needed. I have had a few Invicta silicone and did not have trouble but always awaited a failure

Not sure how questioning your statement shows a leap of faith about Infuckta. Just asking the guys about their silicone experience, as there's a watch I really like but has a custom lug design so swapping for a bracelet is not an option.

I figured that much about captive lugs. I couldn't care less about questioning anything. The point of my post in the first place was that both materials break and are lint catchers. Carry on splitting hairs.

There are better options like SteveO who will make a custom strap for less than what INVICTA charges for an OEM straps. It could be hard to measure because of intricate proprietary strap cuts. You could send the broken strap ends with the length and specs you are seeking. Draw a template and email photo of it with the dimensions from the Invicta replacement band site. Anything from the lug ends out like the taper and length can be made to your own specifications depending if you plan on using the OEM buckle or something aftermarket. Good luck.

I would forget the strap and just get a bracelet for it. Problem Solved, my 2 cents anyways.

Bracelet is not an option.
Leather is out because I wash my watches after each wear.
So it's a šŸ‘ŽšŸ‘Ž on the double barrel akula.

Appreciate the input, guys.
