Hi guys.

I'm just getting into tissot. In particular older ones.

I'm about to buy this one.

Can you guys please give me any advice or information about the watch.

I've been told it's from around the 50's.

But I haven't seen them with the gold mechanisms internally.

Would it be a fake?

Also should I get it serviced etc. Or try it myself?

All help appreciated.

Thank you

amateur here...a little knowledge acquired by me shooting 1st learning later...it's a mechanical... ask seller which parts are replaced...

-most have parts replaced and restored...credibility of seller important... yeah it should have been serviced... check out the URBAN GENTRY video posted by WIT ROAD WARRIOR... 10 things to know before you buy vintage...

i couldn't watch it...because in fulfilling my mission " shoot first learn later " :hat::wink::dizzy: I already bought a ton of " shiny " vintage...which means they have been lacquered... learning curve for you to start climbing...welcome to WIT
