Thresher Twins

Your twins look fantastic! May they grow to be a couple of favorites.Congrats!

What was the deal on the lume on the one? I know you mentioned the GMT hand, but are you saying the lume was bad on the other Stan? I have two of the SF40's on the way.

Hi Mike I had Elshan send me a green thresher replacement for the GMT hand which he did and also I asked him if he could send me another blue thresher because the loom on my first one was okay but not great. The second one blue one he sent me was a little bit better then the first one but nothing significant. The loom on the blue one is just not as strong as the green one. I am not sure how people were able to get it really glowing brightly on the blue one. I took many pictures and green was just brighter than the blue.

Elshan had told me there would be some differences in the lume per dial color Stan. The funny thing is, the two dials that were not sandwich dials. With the fragile material, ET said there could be a slight difference in the sandwich and those two. The sandwich cut-outs would appear slightly brighter. My MOP is like a beacon side-by-side with some others.

hey very nice... I think l like the emerald over the blue...distinguished bezel machining...tasty sandwich

The MOP and green dials were the two in the line of fire for me. The steel blue and other colors were never a consideration. I could see someone getting the blue who's new to the brand, but I'm drowning in a sea of blue dials here.

This is the best that I could get the blue loom. As you can see the markers that are in the circular position are not as green because they have orange in them and they don't have as much intensity as on the green one. I think I will be getting the mother of pearl one also Mike. I am going to get it from Seriouswatches.

Congrats Stan. Elshan told me that about orange and green lume back in 2016 on the Eagles.

Hey Mike!

I do have some preowned abyss pieces which have some patina on them but otherwise works great. The Eagle is my favourite design of the whole bunch actually but I have funky tastes :p

The 1D glows green but to be honest it isn’t that great. The 1A is better and if you’d like I could offer the same deal for the 1A version too.

Cheers!

PS: the bronze Eagle was really sharp also can see why it was the first to go.

In terms of brightness, the E-1A (BGW9) comes out tops followed by the E-1B and E-1C both using C1 with a dye to achieve a slightly different daylight color.
