HALDOR Watches’ engineers have developed HHC (HALDOR Hard Coating), a special hardening process designed to increase both the hardness and scratch-resistance of steel. I think this process is applied to both the case and bracelet and the version that has a steel bezel would be a HHC steel bezel.

wonder if it is like DAMASKO submarine hardened steel-

wonder if it the alloy...less carbon...or the process...

Damn it! And here I thought I was going to be able to stay in the NBZ for the rest of the year...

I was really disappointed when this fell through last year. Hopefully it's a go this time around.
