I haven't seen them around lately, either.:dunno:

I probably own 2 dozen Sottomarino watches and I love the brand but unfortunately I do not own that model. I bought so many from Precision Time they actually sent me a free Sottomarino hat and some other Sottomarino swag! Precision time is now ilovewatches https://ilovewatches.com/collections/sottomarino
I still get their emails but haven't bought a watch from them in over a year.

I too, got bitten by the Precision Time "Sotto Bug back in the day. Probably 2 dozen + in the collection but not that one. I can say ALL of mine have a great build and for the price point are a great watch. I got a hat from them too which was cool. Probably the month I bought 9 of them. From a quality standpoint, I have no doubt you'd be happy. Just unable to give any constructive advice as to what a good price would be. Good luck in deciding should you have one in your sights :)

Looks like the prices I saw from PT back in the day that made me lose control. I think my best buy (which I still can't believe) was a Ceramico (totally ceramic) for under $50. Those were the days!

I grabbed a couple Ceramico watches at those prices. I'll bet everyone that is a quartz needs batteries by now haven't worn one in ages. I did break out a Mosto the big one 51mm a while back and that was dead. I'll have to do a major sweep of the collection and start doing battery checks and replace the dead ones. I have to say the quality of these are great and for the money they were great deals. I think I only paid 21 bucks for the Mostro, I think just in stainless alone it's worth 21 bucks. LOL

Anybody have one? Care to share a few words? I'm looking at picking one up and before I do I'd like to hear from an owner of one. View attachment 19289

I have this exact watch that I purchased direct from Precision Time. I wore it maybe 2 times, as it is big, solid, and heavy for my 7” wrist. It sits in my storage box, looking in mint condition. If anyone is interested, PM me, I would sell it for a great price, to make room for a smaller Timepiece.

those were the days my friend-

i'd thought they'd never end-

-trigger pulls and " stinky tuna cans " like rain in April- the sotos came in a tin can back then-( i think I remember mutual enabling with Ed & lots of posting at the old site...poor man's thrills ) searching the memory banks i remember my first " catch & release " LOL

Pmed you!

Got an Italia, couple of Ceramica's, 2 Mostro's and a nice Pilotare myself. They were practically giving these things away at one time. Not bad at all for the price.
