Six out of twelve watches were fogged up

Yes, this absolutely needs to be addressed.
Anyone have any theories on the crystal fogging?
Yea I'll take a crack at this...

What causes "moisture" to get inside a watch that has never been worn, crowns screwed down and desiccant packets inside the storage boxes? A bad seal, or could it be gases from cheap plastic.

New cars off-gas volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These compounds are gasses that come from the newer plastics, fabrics and leather of your newer vehicle. Overnight and whenever the vehicle is not having fresh air brought in, the gasses cool and condense on the glass and leave a film that makes the glass look cloudy.Dec 4, 2015

Sorry for the reflection and glare. It was the best angle to show the haze.

It's almost like the AR coating started to disintegrate. Those little specs beneath the crystal are odd.

I honestly think this is the heavyweight champ of all fog ups. I also included a few pictures of Watches with metal movement holders . These are most likely left over flame delusion. Someone very Oily is Laying Low.
