I read this news yesterday and was at a loss for words other than to say how much Lori will be missed around here.
Back at WGs, she was one of the first people I started PMing with. Always a fun conversation. Lori was very kind and a giving person. One time, she was selected as the winner of a giveaway, a beautiful yellow Festina watch. Lori asked the person doing the giveaway if he could send it to me instead (I'm sorry for not remembering who the person was, but if you're reading this, thank you too.). What a wonderful gesture on her part. As gman said, the couple of watches she sent me over the years will never leave my collection and hold a very special place in my heart. Every so often we would PM for an hour or so until one of us was just too tired to go on. When I was going through a bad time with another member, Lori was right there to encourage me to stay on the forum and not let it get to me. As I said, she was a kind and giving person whom I shall never forget. I am grateful to have known her even if only through the computer.
RIP Lori.
