From SeikoUSA.com:
Recraft Series. A new generation of watches. Iconic archival design meets advanced green technology that recrafts light into solar energy, your body’s motion into kinetic energy, and mechanical engineering into automatic power.

Our Fellow-Seiko-Enthusiast member, "timecat", introduced me to this collection with several threads praising this retro/modern collection. He was not hesitant to sing his praises to the Seiko series.

So I bit. And am I glad I did!

These watches embody the look and feel of classic Seikos from the 1960s and 1970s, but without direct copying. And they appeal in design, size and function to the modern collector.

The timepiece presented here is my first from the Recraft Collection. My hope is to demonstrate, in images only, the details and finish that make this watch such a value. I can assure you it won't be my last.

I invite you to do a little online research on prices for Recraft models.

And I hereby extend my sincere thanks to "timecat" for introducing me to the series!

And as always... Thanks for lookin', WiTs!!! :applaud:

Superb. I have the green dial version of this watch on a bracelet. Fantastic value fantastic watch.

I have three of Seikos Recrafts and they are a great value for what you get.

Thanks for the review timetraveler - Bill.

Cool piece at a great price, Bill. Thanks for the pics!

your photos enhance reality...like an indy movie with high contrast filter-

my understanding is re-craft is a brilliant bit of re-purposing /marketing of an old engine

Spectacular pics of a very cool retro tool.

Thank you for the kind words, TimeTraveler! The more Tyme I spend on WIT and the more WITs I meet in person, the more I like this place.

I am still amazed by these Recrafts. There's something very special about them--"Je ne sais quoi".

I love collecting Seikos. I'm glad it's finally getting cold enough outside to wear some of the leather strap versions--like this one.

Thanks for the great pics! Enjoy!
