Will be interesting to see pricing. For some reason I was thinking on one of the anniversary sales awhile back it was $499 for the ETA 2824 version, $599 for the GMT version and $699 for the 7750 Master Chrono version. Love the M2K - but with trending down in size I've sold most and am down to just 1 version. May consider picking up one depending on price and versions offered. Will be nice to see if there are any new color options available or if all are black dials with choice of blued or orange hands as pictured in the video Mike shows above.

Rob are you doing both with downsizing your collection or just trending down to smaller sizes now that you have tried smaller ones?

Mike - I'm doing a little of both. I'm trying to stay with one in/one out and maintain a reasonable collection size of about 30 or so, and it seems that it is the larger ones that are not getting the wrist time are the ones I'm letting go.

Essentially the same movement.

The main difference between these two movements is that 2836 holds a day-date calendar complication while 2824 houses only the date complication. That stands to be the major difference between these two movements.

Like the NH35 and the NH36. One has a date the other a day/date.

That price is really good. Especially if the lume is on par with the ones originally made. That GMT was only my second Deep Blue in 2011. After that one I was hooked.

Sale price still up - thinking of getting the version with the blued hands and applied markers. I don't have a day/date automatic in the collection and I have a soft spot for the M2K. Though this version is the only one that still remains in the collection. I've probably owned a dozen others over the years. Definitely now on the upper end of size that I'll wear, and I don't seem to give this beauty the wrist time it deserves. I dig the orange hands on the blue sunray dial. Decided to wear this today to help me decide whether or not to pull the trigger. That $499 price is great.

Well, decision was made for me -price is now up $100 to $599. I was going to pull the trigger but was 15 minutes too late. Oh well, was not meant to be. I was going to wear on an already sized M2K bracelet and keep this one new, but in all honestly I probably would have flipped it in a year, so probably better off not buying. Will save the funds for something else (probably the Raven Endeavour II).
