Today we take a look at the new Aged Steep Proteus version from Phoibos. It's basically the same as the older Proteus, but with a weather-beaten looking treatment applied to the steel case. Which gives it an older vintage maritime feel.

I have the carbon dial due today, but my local post office has been really f%$#ing up lately again. Since last week I've had packages show on the street out for delivery. I have not received one. Counting Phoibos, I have four that show out for delivery, two from last week. The one they sent to the wrong post office when sorting that ended 30 miles from my local branch. That one showed it had gone back to the distribution center (missort it in the first place) to resend it to the local office for final delivery. I understand ****-ups happen. I see loaders drifting into the wrong lanes and putting parts of others routes that are staged close to another. That sometimes happens when volume is extra heavy and floor space is at a premium. The majority will be extra careful, but you always get the slackers who couldn't care less. :banghead:

Patience Grasshopper. It will all work out well in the end. I have faith....sort of.

Easy for you to say when two packages are medicine. Nothing to do with patience. I'm not fond of having a good buzz ruined by stupidity. It's one thing for mail carrier to be chased by a turkey. My local post office seems to be the last chance terminal for all of the misfits. I end up getting all of the turkeys to deliver my mail.

I had to leave my last route because of turkeys. I had three that were violent as hell would jump in the air throw their claws at you. Couldn't get the city to kill the f'ers. Me, I would fight them off everyday and still make sure everyone got their mail that day. The new carrier does what I should've done and refuse to deliver to the block and bring the mail back. Crazy people feed them illegally and they never leave an area. My route was in a city and that route has a growing flock of about 50 of the bastards. They block traffic, crap everywhere, jump on car hoods, house roofs. I could get as tough as I wanted to with them and the dominant males would never back away they viewed me as competition. The females and younger one's weren't no issue but the leaders were some bad'assed giant birds. Problem is people feed them and if the people that feed them seen me smacking them with a stick or throwing giant ice blocks at them they come yell at me. Had one crazy broad call the police on me twice and the police told her I had every right to defend myself. I loved that route, but those damn birds weren't going anywhere. Not trying to distract from your crappy mail issue, just could relate to the turkey story.

I was attacked by a flock of geese in an industrial park in Marlton NJ. The dock sat behind a lake and they must have had babies. I was walking around the front entrance after snoozing while waiting for the stop to open in the early am. I never realized how quick they were. They were hissing like snakes and snapping at me. They people must have seen me on the security cams and came to the door with a golf club laughing their asses off.

I had so many customers on that route come out and help me. They hated them too.Had a guy smack them with a fishing pole, lawn chair, dogs(they hate dogs think they're coyotes), some would use their cars to trap them so I could get by, water hoses, chase them with umbrellas. Still no matter how much the residents complain the city still refuses to do anything about them. I wanted to kill them myself but if I did a animal nut would have had me on youtube in an instant. The neighbors hate the protectors and feeders and they get into shouting matches all the time when the people would come help me out. Dog spray doesn't work on them as they have no tear ducts so I was screwed. Geese are another nasty group.
