I will say that the attention span and patience of younger people today, especially in men is very short. I've had several who have asked me about no date dials just getting into the hobby. They seem to flake out when trying to explain the danger hours of setting the date on trinkets.

A market for collectors not speculators We are seeing the continued slide in the eye-watering secondary market numbers for watches from the last 2-3 years, and as a result, watches are finding their way into the hands of collectors rather than prospectors. This is a good thing, and from a market perspective, it is only natural. For example, a Royal Oak, which you could have easily sold the day after purchasing for double if not three times the value of the retail price, is no longer trading for those numbers, which ultimately means that those who buy the watch we hope are the ones that will end up enjoying it.

-purists i.e. addicts also called "collectors" eschew date hole fenestration and the dreaded " ghost " position... I remember I had a pretty MARATAC field ti by COUNTYCOM but after the forum banged the drum on GHOST POSITION I started to " resent" the movement AND NO LONGER GOT JOY FROM FINGERING HER STEM .... and I flipped, trade, sold her long ago all in a wrist clock frenzy -

well that's all just crazy "cognition" just a part of the fever I have had for 15 years ; and still suffer from -- and though " I no longer buy watches " @buzzmartian ...except the 20 I snuck in from china in the last half year...; and the 5 I bought from china for black Friday to " beat the tariffs "

final word...gem stone prices are falling like a rock off a cliff... the falling prices reflect globalism on part of USA and " state managed capitalism infused with MAO LITTLE RED BOOK PRC " ...but the post WWII no longer looks like it will hold. LIBERAL DEMOCRACIES have exploited money printing
to ease societies various ills and once that genie is out of the bottle it eventually devours it's master.

I got that by the fact that the yellow in the post was a TSAO.

The TSAO was posted as a reference to Scantor saying the Phoibos .. "Looks like my Zelos Bumblebee dial only Ice Blue".

Zelos was one of the first to use this dial texture, but a bunch of brands came out with their own. That's just the nature of how quickly brands follow each other. The same thing happened with Aventurine. Now its over saturation to the point of being nauseating.
