VORTEX SPECS & PHOTOS:
CASE SIZE: 43.5mm dia. without lug design. Height 13mm.
CASE MATERIAL: 316L stainless steel.
WR: 20ATM (200 meters).
BEZEL (Outer): Solid fixed.
BEZEL (Inner): Rotatable, with SL-BGW9 (Grade A) lume filled markings.
CRYSTAL: Flat sapphire with 6 layers of AR coating inside.
MOVEMENT: Sellita SW200-1, housed in a metal holder.
ANTI-MAGNETIC inlay between movement and case back providing up to 20000A/m in magnetic resistance.
CROWN: TOP: Triple locker screw down type for inner bezel adjustment.
CROWN: LOWER: Triple locker screw down type for time adjustment.
CASE BACK: Screw down with etched markings.
DIAL: 2 Layers....
UPPER DIAL: Matte, embossed with PNP applied indexes filled with SL-BGW9 (Grade A) lume.
LOWER DIAL: Grainy, matte finish with thick printed logo.
HANDS: IPS sandblasted, filled with SL-BGW9 (Grade A) lume.
STRAP: Black leather with stainless steel buckle.
The launch price will be $450USD, retail price is $599USD.

I'm not too crazy about this upcoming model or the SW200 movement. The Apollo3 arrived Monday and after running with date changes a few days I just got around to sizing the trinket.

The SELLITA SW215 feels fine, but I only have a few. Still, I have an older Christopher Ward and other older trinkets from various brands with SW200. The older have never had any issues. The problem lies with the newest ones like Ocean Crawler, Deep Blue and a few other. The rotor mechanics on the SW200 helicopter effect is a problem. Elshan has shied away from the SW200 series automatics since the ABYSS 3. He had to send me a new one and was telling me it is the worst movement as far as problems go that he has used to date.

Hopefully included a rubber strap. Would look nice on a thick mesh too. Also, I would prefer to have them offer a more affordable movement and lower the price. Phoibos has been slowly creeping up in cost. With this design they could use an nh35 you probably wouldn't notice the lower beat rate with such a short and wide seconds hand.

I really like getting different types of watches on the channel with varying functions and features
This Vortex is one of those types of watches

This is probably the first Phoibos where I'm not attracted to it at all. I haven't added one to my collection but thought long and hard on a couple. I do like how they think outside the box. This one though.... not for me.

I'm not giving this one a second look either. The case reminds me of an old Android Wing made and sold on SHOPNBC. It had the similar style of lines on the case sides I think. It was one that was boasted to be a new concept lug design for tool free strap changes. The straps were in the same vein as some Invicta/Renato designs with metal inserts/barrels in the strap.

I kind of like this. To expensive to make me actually consider buying it. Maybe if they had just thrown a NH35 in there...

i like solid hands and i can not lie

cherry in tact on this brand...don't like more than 1 crown...no date hole for me @bigbasshunter " i got floaters "

so tracking voices on this micro but price important

and want trouble free movement

so i will still post " like a virgin "
