The problem is that while the lug bar will thread through one of the lugs into the Debaufre bracelet, the bar does not line up with the other lug when it emerges from the end link.

Just a quick heads-up: I ordered the Debaufre Triton Metal bracelet and it does not--repeat, does not--fit the Steinhart Triton 30ATM. Other version of this bracelet and Triton models may have worked, but the latest version of the Debaufre bracelet doesn't fit the 30 ATM.

That said, it can be made to fit, provided you are willing to use a Dremel [or other piece of machinery] to shave down the end links and widen the lug holes. The problem is that while the lug bar will thread through one of the lugs into the Debaufre bracelet, the bar does not line up with the other lug when it emerges from the end link.

In trying to get the bracelet to fit initially, I tried every sort of bending, forcing and cursing to get the bar through both lugs--leaving a few scars on the case in the process. I had to resort to my Dremel to make it work, scarring the end links then. Nothing so terrible as to be noticeable to the casual observer, but there you have it. The fit is still not ideal, but it's certainly acceptable: The end links fully cover the gap and meet the watch case. Only problem is the links touch the bezel, which now cannot move without great force. So my next move is to shave down the links some more.

The scratches don't bother me as they might others because I don't sell my watches. But should I sell this one, I will deny having written any of this.

Bought the same bracelet for my triton 30 and it does not fit
Any chance you could do the same for mine ?

HEY everyone, I experienced the same problem on my bracelet (which is a Steinhart). One side aligned perfectly and the other one seemed to be misaligned. The first week I was very frustrated but ... there was a solution. You need to use a pointed object small enough to fit into the screwbar tube; insert it into the side that is not aligning and then put pressure on the side of the screwbar that needs alignment. While you are doing this simultaneously push the other end of the screwbar through. Preferably use a hard service like a hard piece of wood. It will go through as long as you guide the end through and put sufficient pressure. Once it is on, your fine ... I go through this process everytime I switch the bracelet. And now it take only a minute or two .. after some practice.

Hey, rukrem, I tried that with my Debaufre bracelet and Steinhart 30 ATM, but the misalignment is so great that it is physically impossible to get the bar through the second lug hole. Not difficult, but impossible, because less than half of the bar end is visible when looking at it from the other side of the second lug hole. So I had to widen the end link hole and trim the side of the link that comes into contact with the watch case to properly align the entire link with both lug holes. That was difficult, but not impossible.

I had this same issue on one of the end links. I had to bore the hole carefully to get the screw bar on the one side to line up and pass through both ends. I never bothered to put the bracelet on. I purchased it years ago when I bought the Trinket directly from Steinhart. Lesson learned .. Always try any trinket parts at the time of purchase to be on the safe side.

Luckily I had these on hand. They worked perfect to round out and reshape then end link hole to fix the issue without ruining the part.
