We’re happy to report that production is progressing well. Here’s a brief summary of our current status:
• Dials have arrived and are currently undergoing quality control.
• Hands are also in QC.
• Cases have been received and are going through QC, including water resistance testing on the empty cases.
• The calendar disc has recently passed final print confirmation, and we’ve now started the disassembly and reassembly work to install it into the movements. This process is expected to be completed by the end of next week.
• All packaging components have arrived and are ready.
Once the QC checks and pre-assembly testing are complete, we’ll proceed with full-scale assembly on the production line. Everything is moving smoothly, and we remain on track for our estimated August delivery.
That grey Damascus in the image above ↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑ looks plastic and fake. Nothing like the real Damascus dials I've seen. That green tint lume also looks horrible IMO. I've never been a fan when Wing used it either because it just clashes with everything.
The Super-LumiNova variant that is white during the day and glows green in the dark is Super-LumiNova C1. *
While C1 is white in daylight, its luminosity is about 30% of C3, according to Circula Uhren. This means it's less bright than other Super-LumiNova varieties like C3, which is yellowish-green in daylight and glows a brighter green.
*That might have been true in the past, but I've found the new X1 Super-LumiNova is a game changer for the older 30% standard. C1 X1 rocks with longevity from my experience.
