Got an email yesterday that Oris would be producing a limited number (250) edition of a new watch to celebrate their 117 year anniversary. Not exactly a normal number to celebrate but hey, why the heck not.
In the email all we got was one pic and a link to a trailer. Today is was released
At 38mm and $3900 it is a definite pass for me. But is it s lovely looking piece. I would probably already own a Big Crown pointed date if it were 42mm or larger. So why the extra $2k? Besides being limited it comes with the Oris in-house Calibre 403. The first watch produced and released with this in-house pointer date, small seconds movement.
If you like em small, its a real beauty.

This year’s 250-piece Hölstein Edition is based on the iconic Big Crown and becomes the first watch powered by Oris Calibre 403.
