What a beauty! Great shot you took there. I love the P-38 or as the Germans called her "Fork-tailed devil". One of the fastest planes at the beginning of the war and saw action in the Pacific, Europe, Mediterranean, North Africa theaters. Richard Bong, the highest scoring American Ace of the war with 40 kills, flew a P-38 as did Brig. General Robin Olds. Outstanding
