Numerous Posts and Threads are Attributed to Me that Were Not Mine!

In searching for some old posts I did a search for my user name, and came up with many postings that were not mine. I've no clue who my posts/threads have been attributed to. My concern is being credited . . . or blamed . . . take your pick . . . for postings and threads I did not originate. Is there any way to fix this?

Your posts are joined with mine somehow brother , so any blame can come my way . Not sure if it's something the mods can fix or not.

Some of them we are able to fix due to an obvious user ID error. Others are not so simple.

Most of the older stuff is being pruned out and most of the unattributed stuff will end up being removed. On one's that have been restored and I know it's not the original poster shown I make a note at the beginning of the post who it was originally post by.

....and you are not alone... It probably would have been easier if Admin would have scrapped everything and just started again from scratch. I know it would have been less work , after all this is just a hobby. Steve and crew have lives and should not have to work so hard. The good stuff and knowledge still could be rebuilt from the original members as needed. I'm just moving forward and not worried about my older stuff. Members like RW can always hunt down something important if necessary


The only thing I would like to see restored is Realtymebandit's moniker changed back to his originalfrom which was Tymebandit. After all, the guy who took that name did so just to annoy Arthur , and his contributions were zero , and he is not here anymore JMHO.

Steve I agree with Rog. You, Bill and Lee have had to put a lot more work in trying to make a simple(yeah right) switch over. I see RW doing a great job in updating threads and other Wits can do the same. There comes a time when you got to say enough and go on from there.
I also say give Arthur back his moniker there is only one Tymebandit and he is the one. Just one more request I don't want to start something but, Paul (Penn25) he is Socrates to me and should always be.

Steve, I seem to not be able to respond to PM's or send a PM. I receive them but I don't seem to be able to respond as my sent items folder remains at zero. When you have time , can you check into this for me...thanks. RJ


correction....I seem to be able to respond but they don't show up in the sent folder....maybe it's just the way it works.

I think as more threads get started, we can just start deleting the unimportant ones.

Rog, its in your settings. You have to check the box that says save a copy of sent mail.
 
A similar thing happened to me due to what I was told was caused by the forum software change.
 
Restore Arthur's name, and agree with rog1 on wiping slate clean if
needed.
