I can say that I bought my dad one of these for his birthday or Christmas a few years ago. He was a 20 year volunteer fire fighter and has been retired from that for 5 years or so now. This is a really solid watch like we would expect of a NFW. He loved it, and wore it almost daily. To put it plainly, he destroyed that watch he loved it so much. Somehow, he got 2 of the corner bolts to come undone and the bezel flops around now. He keeps it on his dresser still. He normally like a smaller 40mm case size because of the crown, but being a lefty it was perfect for him that way and the size was a nonissue. I highly recommend one of these for any firefighter in your life that you care about.

A marvelous time pieces, and a great tribute to our Fire Fighters, from NFW. Thanks Mike.:hat:

I would email George at NFW to see if he could send\sell you a couple of those bolts. If he has them I'm sure he would hook you up. Certainly can't hurt to try...

I just did this, called George, Stan for some stupid reason. I just used the general contact link on the site and George himself emailed me back. He was going to send out the pins I need to get the watch back together. He is even going as far as sending me one of his wrenches because of the odd size that I need to send back to him. I offered to make a payment a few different times and was shot down each time. George is a stand up guy and I can't wait to buy from him again.

I just knew he would help you out if it was at all possible. George is a real stand up guy and one of the best in the business. He REALLY cares about his customers even after the sale. Not like some others we know.

Glad he came through for you Dan.

When I need smaller rods for my Shumate Diver to fit a mesh bracelet. It was George who provided the rods. He would not take money. He's one of a kind.
