My blue strap came yesterday for the Nautis I got a couple weeks ago. I also got some watch repair tools from Esslinger although the messed up sent me an extra pair of tweezers instead of the watch hands press I ordered. I can see why the part numbers were almost Identical.

The distressed blue strap seems to me to have a aqua hue to it but better than the brown strap it came with. The new blue strap looks exactly like the straps Nautis uses same stitching thickness the new strap just doesn't say Nautis on the underside. I also switched the Nautis buckle just to have the Nautis branding on it.

Looks even more on the teal side on my monitor!

One of the reasons I like dealing with Esslinger is they have GREAT customer Service. Sent them an Email telling them of the mistake in the order they are sending me the watch hand tool they mistaken another for and told me to just keep the one they accidentally sent!

Hmmm...it looks, much like it does in your monitor, a more flagrant teal shade, though I DO really like the overall effect of the black and blue in that pattern (or "teal," as the case may BE...) Enjoy it , mon ami!!

In different light it looks blue sometimes almost green and under the flash on my camera teal/aqua. Looking at it on my desk on top of my green cutting mat it looks like the blue I thought it was. I took pics of a watch once I would have sworn had a black strap but in the pics looked dark Navy blue I have seen colors I didn't notice that popped in pics. I took it out in the sun and sure enough it looked Dk Navy outside. One thing I learned in photography school was lighting makes a huge difference in color and hue. You learn fast everything take on a yellowish hue when taking pics under incandescent lighting etc. OK if you want that effect or if you know you do not have a choice a filter can change things up. I really should be setting up the light box and using the proper lighting but it a pain in the ass setting it up just for a few watch pics. I downloaded a program for my PC that supposedly sets the monitor to show the correct colors and IMO it was a waste luckily it was free. LOL
