What am I missing? I've seen these before with red accents, etc. :hmm: He talks like he never made this one before using the 8040N.

It looks like the only thing different is the rubber strap and maybe dial colors. Nothing new about these.

Strap that's a lint magnet and K1 crystal that loves haze. I was amused the other day reading some Wing nuts pissing and moaning that the 50mm Virtuoso 9015 is selling slower compared to the 44mm. That news came from Wing about what sizes were selling better. They correlate 50mm size to "real men" and small trinkets to woman. Sounds like snowflakes insecure in their own skin.

44mm is the most popular size majority of the time. I still like 50mm but 44mm is not bad also.

To me it comes down to what each individual prefers and enjoys wearing. The tides are changing and oversized option choices are being trimmed down. It's only a good business decision for a watch company to change with the times. That doesn't mean they should stop making the 50mm sizes.

Some tend to get pissed when their asking prices don't reflect the demand. Maybe ten years ago they might have had a better chance getting a certain price, but that ship has sailed on oversized trinkets being in demand. Truthfully, even back when they were peaking, selling at unreasonable prices seemed to be a big ask. That's why buying low (Sunday Run) and selling low or lower helps avoid disappointment with unrealistic expectations.

I thought it was a good deal for $123 including Shipping. So I bought the 44mm pale yellow? dial and rubber strap. I like the big date and day feature. I was looking for a Chrono with a white dial and got an email alerting me to this deal. Compared to a Citizen Brycen this is a good deal price and feature wise.

Got that one same price when shipping added. Daylight brings out the Champaign color. I like the large date and having the day complication. And nice movement. The hands stand out day or night. (While lume lasts)
