I really like some of these nautical watches from Nautica. I especially like the ones that use signal flags as indices. I saw this the other night it was $50.00 on DWS and with the code $45 but add the shipping $50.00! LOL I have to say I wasn't expecting such a nice watch The Timex Group did this one solid!

Wow!! Now THAT is one beautimous nautically themed wartch, mi amigo!! And the signal flags aren't just thrown on the dial randomly, either; no skippy, uh-uh!! Starting at the 9 o'clock position (or "posit," as we auld navy salts might say it), and reading upward, the flags spell "NAUTICA." Then, going to the 8 o'clock position and reading downward, the resulting word is "STYLE." So, it appears that our message reads "Nautica Style," which, given the danged SHARP appearance of this beautimous tymepiece, should come as no surprise. I think this really IS one danged stylish tymepiece, and this green-with-envy rodent is thinkin' that HE just might have to get hisself one of these here fine-looking Nautica wartches. Congratulations on this very cool pick-up, Johnro! And may your poop deck always be clean, and your bilges dry as a turkey roasted in a microwave. (Ugh...:palm: )

nice nautical tool what a rich man would wear to his yacht club while he lets his pile work for him

Nice watch John. Wear it well. The name caught my eye. I used to have stops in GLEN ROCK NJ up in BERGEN county.

Timex had another branch of dive watches called HELIX. They were made rock solid. All of mine have sapphire crystals, RONDA repairable movements like the 5040D and bracelets were the earliest model using ratchet clasp. The one thing I was never crazy about were the rubber center link inserts in various colors.

Callanen International is the parent company behind many “branded” watches such as Nautica and Mark Ecko. Callanen is actually a subsidiary of Timex, but we can forgive then for that. ... Recently, they unveiled a new brand called Helix.May 2, 2008
