wow...sorry about travails RW &MSCHILL813

thank you for posting these experiences as i will try to learn from them
Scotty the funny thing about this well it not funny is they Sold it on it being a mask that would have a 95% chance of you not getting Covid. Which I knew could not really be true but there entire sales pitch was one thing once it ended and they took your money they took away a lot of things they said would happen with this mask I had emails back and forth with them and it sounded good maybe to good so I thought I would take a chance.. Then offered a refund if not satisfied with what they where doing then all of a sudden that changed. I went through my credit card company and emailed and called these guys everyday for months before I received a refund. We had the Colorado Attorney generals office involved they fined this Company UV masks 100k but that a joke when you also have to take into affect they sold over a million dollars of these on Indiego so they have over 4 million dollars. You live and learn and try not to get burned. I had many emails back and forth with crapstarter they told me there highly trained people will look into this matter but all I received was a form letter saying there is nothing we can do even though they had frozen there accounts a couple of times during the investigations they said they had but the results where your out of luck we got our money you don't get anything. I still look every couple of weeks to see what is going on they shut down there website no emails and millions of dollars stolen. Ok enough I got to get back to work

i recently needed eye drops and researched famous brands... but on line

peeps saying " they burned " i.e. unvetted merchandise

i will buy my eye drops at the big box national chain better shot at getting branded merch-

i bought a lot of masks made in china & korea...i still wear a mask when i share air... fuk them deniers and pols that beg five dollars

but i do not like to think too much on their efficacy... those masks do smell like ass

as they say in the law " not every wrong has a remedy "

now that it is safer to go out ... i think i should shop brick & mortar more build communities and main street

Feb 10, 2022 (DENVER)—Attorney General Phil Weiser today announced that a crowdfunded Colorado mask company will offer refunds to Coloradans who supported its crowdfunding campaigns to develop a product that would eliminate 99% of pathogens to protect customers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and then neglected to honor its satisfaction guarantee when customers later requested refunds.

The company, Measure, Inc., which crowdfunded for its UVMask product under the company name UM Systems, initially offered a “100% satisfaction guarantee” and a complete refund to consumers who wanted one. The crowdfunding campaign for the UVMask project began on June 25, 2020, and, per Measure’s own statements, was one of the most funded campaigns in the history of Kickstarter or Indiegogo. As of Oct. 16, 2021, the company had 34,065 backers who pledged $4,194,731 across both crowdfunding sites. A total of 425 of those backers were Coloradans, who pledged a combined $89,000.

Measure later limited its refund and satisfaction guarantee but pledged to honor the previous policy for people who were backers of the company before the policy changed. When these same backers tried to return their masks, however, Measure changed the terms of the guarantee and declined to provide the complete refund—instead, they only offered consumers who returned the masks store credit.

“Colorado consumers made vulnerable by the fear amid a global pandemic purchased an experimental mask product, believing it would keep them safe, in some cases investing hundreds of dollars,” Weiser said. “This company neglected to honor its promises to consumers who wanted their money back. This settlement will ensure that the company fulfills its promise and customers who are unsatisfied with the product will have their money returned.”

To be honest the only kickstarters I have had success with have been watches. But after the fighting I had to do to get my money back on this one not worth the aggravation especially now with ready the stuff Mike.posted about a 30% chance of being scammed that is not good odds.

We've heard back that SEIKO has enough stock of the NH38 movement so there won't be a delay if we switch over from the NH35. We agree that the user experience will be better by not having a ghost position, but we still think using the NH35 would have been fine since we didn't have any issues with the Miyota 8215 and not showing the date.

There is a 10% price increase in the cost of the NH38 to the NH35, but we'll take it from our margin and not pass along the increased cost to backers.

We've gone ahead and updated the project wall to reflect this improvement.
Thanks

What a joke. They won't pass the increase to backers. They have a big heart and probably have even a bigger bank account holding on to their money while using backers.
