Glad to here everything has worked out for the best, Steve.

luckily i have never had a check bounce while buying a watch... but... stuff happens...

LM did act honorably... returned the watch in tact... carefully packed i assume ...

i hope things get better for LM... maybe he will get back on his feet and do a good deed for WS or another WIT...

i am not asking for a concurrence of opinion... i might have been angry-disappointed-stressed if i had a dog in this fight...but maybe LM will be back ...i hope so...

any WITs for second chances ?

Everything happens for a reason. Only he knows what really happened. Embarrassing either way. Bring him back with a 1yr. probationary period. After all. Steve got his watch back. Most important.:applaud:

No need to hang him. It doesn't matter to me if he wants to read and post.
I don't think anyone here will be selling/buying a watch from him any time soon.

I'm with Scotty, of course ultimately the decision lies with Steve .

I have no intent on crucifying the guy.

I'm only sharing my experience and lesson learned. I was actually very pleased to be able to say the watch was returned as stated.
I understand things happen and with a little time it all worked out in the end.

no crucifixions on golden crosses @ WIT ( WILLIAM JENNINGS BRYAN )

up-side is it was hard times or poor judgement and not the grift... for grifters i got no love...nice job WS and now you may rub your newly returned tool

A bad deal that a positive outcome could have easily gone south was avoided by the way it was handled, Kudos to you Steve, it served as a refresher course about taking some things for granted and that nothing is without risk or foolproof.

Glad u got it back. I have the twin to your long lost wrist child. Hope you wear it again.
