I have my grandfather's pocket watch that my father gave me. It is an Elgin 15 jewel from circa 1923. All in white gold. Thanks to @repOman (Whitey) he recently thru out the name of a restoration company specializing in pocket watches exclusively.

After sending them these photos:
This is exactly how I received it. It does work but runs fast.
They stated that there is a big problem with the movement as that the regulator on the balance is missing. I never knew. This will need to be re-installed to regulate the watch for accurate timekeeping. The watch will then need to be serviced. They could remove the tarnish on the movement, blue hardware, re-blue the hands, and restore the enamel lettering on the movement. They cannot cannot do any work to the metal dial. I guess it's age and some character will remain.
So very soon I will be sending it in to them. Can't wait to get it back and show my dad. It will soon be 100 years old!
